From July 20 to 29, the first ABF Global Gathering brought together more than 160 children and young people, alongside choir directors from Haiti, Uganda, the Holy Land, Camerino, and Rione Sanità, as well as the local multidisciplinary teams involved in ABF Voices Of program. For many of them, this meant embarking on their first journey away from home and preparing to encounter languages, cultures, customs, and ways of life that had been unknown to them until then. A journey that began long before they actually set out. In the months leading up to the ABF Global Gathering, intensive educational, logistical, and interpersonal efforts accompanied every stage of the preparation. Paperwork and organizational details were intertwined with dialogue with families, participant preparation, bridging the gap between different languages, cultures, and customs, nurturing relationships, and building trust. This was a meticulous effort, comprising both visible and less visible steps, carried out in collaboration with local teams to create the conditions that would allow everyone to open up to new experiences while feeling supported and prepared to embrace them. . #ABFempowerment

Erano le 03:36 del 24 agosto 2016, quando una forte scossa ha segnato l’inizio di una ferita profonda per il Centro Italia, interrompendo la quotidianità di interi territori.​ ​ Da allora, Andrea Bocelli Foundation ha scelto di essere parte di un percorso di ricostruzione che non riguardasse soltanto gli edifici ma anche la vita delle persone. Leopardi” di Sarnano, nel 2019 il Polo Scolastico “E. De Amicis” di Muccia, nel 2020 l’Accademia della Musica ABF “Franco Corelli” di Camerino, nel 2023 il Polo per l’Infanzia ZeroSei dell’ABF Hub Educativo di Sforzacosta, nel 2024 la scuola primaria “G. Natali” e la palestra che hanno completato l’Hub Educativo. Nel 2025, ABF ha curato gli allestimenti dell’Istituto Comprensivo “Ugo Betti” di Camerino e avviato un programma di accoglienza e orientamento per bambini e famiglie.​ ​ Oggi, a 10 anni esatti dal sisma, questo percorso si prepara a vivere un’ulteriore tappa con la prossima consegna del nuovo IPSIA “R. Yesterday, the young choristers of ABF Voices Of took the stage at the #TeatrodelSilenzio for the dress rehearsal of the concert in which they will perform today alongside founding conductor Andrea Bocelli.​ It was a deeply moving moment for the girls, boys, young people, and choir directors from Haiti, Uganda, the Holy Land, Camerino, and Rione Sanità, who are currently sharing in the experience of the first ABF Global Gathering. ​ Tonight’s performance marks an important milestone in a journey built over time through choral practice, the encounter between different cultures, and the personal growth experienced within the educational communities of ABF Voices Of.

After months of preparation, meetings, rehearsals, and experiences across the regions involved in the ABF Voices Of program, the first ABF Global Gathering has officially begun. Un altro tassello si è aggiunto al programma ABF Digital Lab, con la consegna all’IRCCS “G. Si è appena conclusa la partecipazione di Andrea Bocelli Foundation al Festival Economia Trento 2026, attraverso due momenti di confronto dedicati ai temi della filantropia, dell’economia sociale e della generazione di impatto. Nel panel “Passaggio generazionale e filantropia. Gestire la ricchezza: visione, responsabilità, tempo”, LauraBiancalani, Direttore Generale di Andrea Bocelli Foundation, e Silvia Gualdani, Amministratore Delegato di ABF Philanthropy Advisors, hanno approfondito il ruolo che la filantropia può avere nella costruzione di valore condiviso e impatto duraturo. “Yesterday we were in Lajatico to celebrate the tenth anniversary of CentroZEROSEI “Alessandro Bocelli”, the educational center created on land donated to the Municipality to offer local children a school that accompanies them from the very first months of life. That gesture bore my father's name, Alessandro, and his belief that investing in childhood is among the most meaningful and far-reaching acts an adult can make. Over the past ten years, the Center has welcomed children up to the age of six. Through the shared commitment of the Municipality, the Capannoli Comprehensive Institute, educators, teachers, and our Foundation, it has grown into a project where music naturally becomes part of everyday learning through instruments, workshops, and continuous pedagogical training. The gathering, entitled “Looking Ahead.
