Emiliano Andrade-Covarrubias, who died while in ICE custody on Saturday, was a lawful permanent resident.
ICE said he was detained bc he failed to disclose a 2004 arrest for theft while applying - but his daughter says he did.

Andrade-Covarrubias is at least the 7th person to die at an @ICEgov facility in Texas so far this year.
He's also the second to die at ICE facilities in Laredo. Felix Alcorta-Rodriguez, 63, died while detained at Webb County Detention Center in June.
Yesterday morning, Emiliano Andrade-Covarrubias was found dead a Laredo federal immigration facility.
He was 56, a Dallas resident, and father of three US citizens.
His daughter told us that his health problems were ignored by staff.
