ALERT: Bodycam shows a police officer in Miami pointing a taser directly at WNBA star Paige Bueckers' face.
Buekers and her Dallas Wings teammates were outside the popular nightclub E11even celebrating Arike Ogunbowale’s Unrivaled championship victory.
After an altercation occurred inside the club, Ogunbowale allegedly punched one of the club's security guards “in the face with a closed fist.”
The alleged victim told the police Ogunbowale was the assailant, and they proceeded to try to detain her.
Buekers then put her arm around Ogunbowale and told the officers, “We got her.”
Unrivaled host Maria Clifton can be heard shouting, “Stop it. Do not put handcuffs on her. Are you f*cking kidding me? She’s a champion.”
Ogunbowale was eventually taken to a local jail and booked on one misdemeanor count of battery.
