Lord, turn the hearts of men in this world driving us to war. Draw us back into a time of peace, that more people might live long enough to learn of Your seeking after us. Let the people cease asking questions that need not answering, for You have answered all things. Help people cast aside overwhelming fear and doubt about today, and the days after. Give the people a repreive from a world rife with stress and chaos. Let not the wicked prosper and endure to the detriment of the righteous, nor the hurting heart wandering and seeking for something more. Let the people draw back into communion with their wives and their children. Let their bonds with father and mother, brothers and sisters, sons and daughters, friends and acquaintances, and a yearning stranger become stronger. May Your people be encouraged to help one another. Let those that know joy share it with those lacking, with earnest effort. Impress on the hearts of those with plenty to make consideration of their neighbor, who for a season, has not. Let those with your Spirit be a light so bright that we think no longer of the darkness. Give the blind sight; let them see the wholeness of Your love and the richness that comes in being whole of mind and spirit and body.
Let them see the fulfillment in redemption through Jesus. Let them who learn to see, show others, so that Your kingdom be a crowded celebration.
