Chief of Staff to the Executive Mayor of Tshwane 🇿🇦 · Focused on governing cities and growing economies · Co-founder, ActionSA · Oxford (Blavatnik) alum
The polls must be getting to @CilliersB.
After years in government, he’s suddenly discovered illegal immigration and is now staging raids for TikTok. As a “peace officer”, nogal. 🤣
Funny what being beaten by @NasiphiM in the polls can do.
👀
More & more Tshwane residents are placing their trust in Dr @NasiphiM to continue leading our Capital for another 5 years.
The work has started. There’s much more to do. 💚
On 4 Nov, vote @Action4SA for 5 More Years. 🗳️🇿🇦
Tonight, I’m participating in the SABC’s Tshwane Mayoral Debate.
🗳️ 🇿🇦Tshwane deserves leadership that puts residents first, turns plans into action and delivers with purpose.
The debate will be aired tomorrow night at 19:00.
#FiveMoreYears#VoteActionSA@Action4SA
Tshwane, you have seen Mayor Dr @NasiphiM stabilise the City’s finances, enforce accountability, deliver services to all communities, and restore good governance.
On 4 November, #VoteActionSA and give her #5MoreYears to keep fixing Tshwane for you.
💚🗳️
🗳️ Tshwane deserves leadership that puts residents first, turns plans into action and delivers with purpose.
Over the past two years, we have worked to stabilise our finances, improve service delivery, rebuild infrastructure and create the conditions for economic opportunity.
We have made progress. But there is still much more to do.
Tshwane is our home. Its future is our responsibility.
On the 4th of November, vote for strong and steady leadership. Give ActionSA Five More Years to keep fixing Tshwane for you 🇿🇦

Tonight, I will launch my official “5 More Years” Mayoral Campaign Advertisement.
My #LGE2026 campaign sets out the case for building on the progress we’ve made in Tshwane and continuing the work of restoring the Capital City 🇿🇦🗳️.
📆25 September 2026
⏰18:00 (6pm)
📺Across Dr Moya & ActionSA social media platforms
@Action4SA
🗳️ You work hard and do your part, but local governments run by the same old political parties keep on failing you.
It is time to try something different.
On 4 November 2026, #VoteActionSA and let’s fix South Africa's broken municipalities.
🚨 CAUGHT ON CAMERA
Video evidence shows ActionSA election posters being removed in the City of Cape Town by @Our_DA and replaced with their own posters.
The Electoral Code of Conduct expressly prohibits the unlawful removal or destruction of another political party’s election posters and campaign material.
The DA must explain this.
Cape Town does not belong to the DA. Every political party has the right to campaign freely and fairly.
ActionSA will not be intimidated or pushed out of communities because the DA believes Cape Town is its private political property.
We will put our posters back up. And we will keep campaigning.
🟢 Let’s Fix South Africa.
ActionSA notes the frivolous and undemocratic legal case filed by the DA to disenfranchise voters through the courts that they cannot win at the ballot box.
ActionSA will respond tomorrow and we will defeat this plan to back door a qualified franchise in South Africa.
Today, I launched my election posters across Tshwane with a simple ask: give ActionSA 5 more years to keep fixing our Capital.
Five more years to get the basics right. To deliver reliable services. To build safe, clean communities. To grow our economy and create opportunity.
We’ve made progress. There is much more to do.
Give us 5 more years to build a Capital City we can all be proud of. 💚🇿🇦
@Action4SA
📅 Today, we celebrate #6YearsOfAction.
From our launch in 2020 to today, ActionSA has grown into a voice for accountability and real service delivery.
Now, we are ready to go further, contesting municipalities across the country in the upcoming elections with one mission: fix what’s broken and deliver the change communities deserve.
💚🛠️
The Acting Speaker ruled that the motion would not be allowed.
@CilliersB is deliberately misrepresenting that ruling for dramatic effect.
ActionSA - or any other party - had nothing to do with it.
But don’t let the facts get in the way of the DA’s usual lies and deceit.
🚮
Can someone explain to me why any party would support a Speaker who illegally discounts votes - the life blood of any democratic institution? I mean they are bottom line, nowhere to go if a speaker can’t be trusted to count votes.
So we should accept this rebuttal and conclude that this is a “very deliberate smear campaign”?
Funny. When @nasiphim issued a similar factual rebuttal to an unsubstantiated and baseless allegation, you demanded “transparency” & “scrutiny”.
You see the hypocrisy, right?
🚮
Wow - they really did a hatchet job on Mark Burke in the media.
Is it because he was exposing all the wrong doings at the PIC?
He left Kastelo in Feb 2024.
He hasn't been chairperson of the broader group since Feb 2026.
Sounds like a very deliberate smear campaign to me.
Today, our 2026 Local Government Elections Campaign took us to the Pretoria CBD, Ward 58, where we engaged residents about the future of Tshwane.
Our canvassing secured the commitment of 180 residents to support ActionSA. This is the momentum we need to finish the work that we have already started: to build a city that listens, delivers and puts its residents first.

This is hardly “breaking news” when the Mayor herself released a statement addressing and rejecting these false allegations at least an hour before this post.
The facts are already on the record 👇
BREAKING NEWS: Sources tell us that @nasiphim, Tshwane Mayor has trouble AGAIN with City's fund's!
We are tipped the Mayor is alleged to have used Council service providers to do private activities [Swimming pool etc] in 2025!
I suspect @CilliersB!
Nkosiyam - SWIMMING 🏊♂️ POOL!
False allegations about renovations at my private residence are being circulated to journalists.
The facts are simple. Tlopo Construction has never undertaken any work at my home. The alleged transaction simply did not happen.
I have nothing to hide, and I will not be distracted by attempts to manufacture a scandal ahead of an election.
My full statement is attached below:
The final registration weekend is upon us, Tshwane.
Let’s take this opportunity to ensure that we are registered to vote ahead of the Local Government Elections, to be held on 4 November 2026 🇿🇦🗳️.
If you’ve moved since the last election, this is your chance to make sure your details are captured correctly.

Tonight, I welcomed farmers, organisers, sponsors and industry leaders to Tshwane ahead of the Pretoria leg of Lamb Champs South Africa’s premier lamb festival and agricultural competition.
We are proud to host an event that celebrates our farmers, promotes food security, supports agribusiness and highlights the important role agriculture plays in growing our economy.
Thank you to @Saai_org, @PicknPay, @ToyotaSA@TheoDJager for bringing Lamb Champs to our City. Welcome to Tshwane! 🐑🇿🇦
#MandelaDay reminds us that service is not measured by the size of the gesture, but by the difference it makes in the life of another person.
It also reminds us that our elderly deserve to be honoured, not only for what they have done, but for who they are.
They have cared for our families, built our communities and helped shape the City we call home. They deserve to feel valued, respected and cared for every day.
@CityTshwane
#MandelaDay: We are in Atteridgeville to spend the day with Thato as she hosts a special event for the Gogos of Atteridgeville.
We first met Thato in May, when she invited us to join this special event. She runs Lacquer Nail & Beauty Clinic and, twice a week, she hosts elderly women for beauty treatments.
This is our 67 Acts of Dignity in honour of #MandelaDay.
