The issue with opening the game should now be resolved.
Asian servers are still likely to experience high ping for Australian players.
Update to this, some ISP's appear to be having issues with routing even within Australia. Changing your DNS settings to use Cloudflare has worked in some cases.

Australian @tarkov players - the undersea cable out of Perth is currently damaged. This is causing high ping to the Perth server, as well as higher ping to Singapore, Malaysia and other south east Asia servers.
