Australian @tarkov players - the undersea cable out of Perth is currently damaged. This is causing high ping to the Perth server, as well as higher ping to Singapore, Malaysia and other south east Asia servers.

Bring back the old server selection. Would at least be a temporary fix to the issue having more areas to chose from. Prayge

I can understand why they grouped them, but going auto servers and randomly ending up on Boston at 240ms because the game thinks I can connect to NA Central was not fun!

Just running exit lag and getting a good connection. Ain’t perfect but roughly 140ms from Sydney to shitapore and about the same to Malaysia. Tried Japan, but absolute filth fest of players.

Yeah GearUp was giving me around 160ms from Melbourne to Singapore. I'm guessing via Guam or something instead of Mel->Per->SG. Manageable for questing/scavs but was pretty rough for PVP. Tokyo was 190ish and my hit reg was non-existent.

Imagine bothering to play a game on overseas servers

Small playerbase in OCE. Auto server selection often puts us on Asia or NA-W. Low ping is the preference though.

I never get less then 150-170 pings in asia, they are just eating money and Nakita keeps whoring out his wife but not putting money into good servers and improve crashed and lags.
