I don’t own any StonkBrokers. I’m just trying to learn what the hell @OxSimpleFarmer is building. 😂 And this article from @lysss302 sent me further down the rabbit hole. You start with a simple question like: What the hell is an Intern Desk? Then one answer creates five more questions. What’s an AMM? How do pricing curves work? Where does the liquidity come from? How does market making work? What does permissionless financial infrastructure actually look like when all of these pieces start connecting? That’s what I enjoyed about this article. It doesn’t just tell me about StonkBrokers. It gives me more of the context I need to understand the machinery being built around it. I’m doing an internship at @ClutchMarkets 💼 Here, a pixel trader becomes an onchain brokerage account. I’ll keep it brief. StonkBrokers is an onchain brokerage on Robinhood Chain, a network made for tokenized stocks. • 4,444 pixel NFT brokers • Each NFT has its own wallet • That wallet can hold tokenized stocks • Sell the NFT → the wallet goes with it • Activate a broker → it can receive drops via Clock In Clock In is the payout button: protocol fees are swapped into stock tokens or $STONKBROKER and sent to activated NFT wallets. $STONKBROKER is the token that runs the shop. You use it to buy brokers, activate them, and trade the collection. The token alone does not get you those drops. The activated NFT does. A cheaper way in: 8,888 Stonk Interns, two per broker. Same rails, smaller check. The broker sets the intern’s cut of its Clock In pay. Interns have their own Clock In too. StonkBrokers is a financial ecosystem: • Anvil NFT marketplace • a token launchpad • a DEX • next: SOLO Vaults – the first options desks On SOLO you can lock the token and earn ETH premiums, or buy a cheap call for upside with no liquidation.
