What a special field design our crew painted this week! One of many special things about Texas A&M is its love & support for our country! As usual, my @aggiefieldstaff team did a phenomenal job of implementing this & preparing Kyle Field for @AggieFootball to BTHO Arizona State!
The final and official version of this week’s field. What a privilege to play a small roll in this game to honor & recognize the many lives that were lost due to 9/11, while simultaneously commemorating the 250th anniversary of the United States of America!

Been a few weeks since we did our fraize mow & sprig project at Olsen Field. As the pictures show, things are recovering & filling in nicely. First picture is from June 17, second is June 26, and the third is July 6. Progressing nicely for just under three weeks recovery!

Update for the end of day 2 which included a second but shallower direction over the outfield again & starting on the foul territory. Infield & edges will be left as is since that’s mostly new(ish) sod. Just a little left to go tomorrow & then we start building it back.

Excited to finally get the time/opportunity to fraise mow one of our fields. This process will help reset the surface back to a smooth, even plane while simultaneously cleaning out some of the excess thatch & organic matter that has accumulated over the 21 year life of the field.
Due to construction activities, there are no scheduled activities for Olsen Field this summer. We don’t get open opportunities like this often so we’re using this as a chance to fraise mow the field and get a nice reset on the 21-year-old outfield surface.#Cleanitout

For those wondering, the official dimensions of this field are 185 ft in left field, 261 ft in dead center, 375 ft in right field and a deepest point of 429 ft.
This is per a Savannah Bananas spokesperson.
The Savannah Bananas will play their biggest game ever tomorrow night — over 100,000 at Kyle Field in College Station. That’s wild.
