🇳🇬Nigeria has an electricity generation capacity of 13,000 MW 🇰🇪Kenya has an electricity generation capacity of 3,000 MW 🇳🇬Nigeria is 4.5 x 🇰🇪 Kenya’s Population Divide 13,000 by 4.5 and you get 3090 MW Which is effectively the same or more than 🇰🇪Kenya’s electricity per capita I don’t know where this 🇰🇪kenshitya💩get all this pride from
Makes perfect sense why people still die mid-surgery over there.Maybe Nigeria should just request Dangote to give them the 500 megawatts for free instead of selling it to Kenya.

DeKUT Establishes Semiconductor Collaboration with LAAS CNRS, France The Vice Chancellor of DeKUT, Prof. Eng. Peter Muchiri, EBS led a delegation of DeKUT Staff to a collaboration visit to LAAS CNRS, for collaboration on training, research and innovation in Semiconductor and Micro-electronics Engineering Laboratory for Analysis and Architecture of Systems (LAAS) is a major public research laboratory based in Toulouse, France, and is part of the French National Centre for Scientific Research (Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique - CNRS) network. LAAS has a class 10 clean room that can support the entire flow of the 14nm MOS process up to packaging. The collaboration with DeKUT will be coordinated by the DeKUT Center for Integrated Circuits Engineering, which trains in Microchip design and fabrication.

All these little fires everywhere and territorial disputes are reminiscent of the period before World War 1. WW 1 killed monarchies, WW 2 re-drew borders, I wonder what WW 3 will do.

Good to be behind this project.
Kenya plans to build an Sh80 billion nuclear research reactor at Konza Technopolis to produce cancer-related medical isotopes locally and reduce reliance on imports. The project will be implemented through a public-private partnership (PPP).

The Supreme Court burns to the ground in Albania, Parliament and the Department of Education has been stormed, the Prime Minister is in hiding and the country is effectively in the hands of the rebels. Albania rejects blatant corruption and their country being sold.

He says the name just fine when he’s begging the Qataris for a personal jet or the Saudis for funding for his son-in-law’s private equity firm. Wonder what’s changed?
Trump on El-Sayed: "His name is actually Abduladadalalalala. It's Adulbabababababa Mohammed Al-Sayed. So his middle name is Mohammed. So I was right. He's a jihadist."

🚨 How Did Advanced Military Technology Reach the TPLF? The capture of a large cache of armaments by the Ethiopian National Defense Force (ENDF) in Northern Ethiopia including Turkish and Iranian drones, surface-to-air missiles, foreign-marked ammunition, and advanced Chinese counter-drone systems is not just a tactical detail; it is a grave national security concern that demands global accountability. This raises critical questions about state responsibility, illegal arms proliferation, and regional destabilization. 1. Foreign Drone & Air-Defense Technology: Who Authorized the Transfer? The presence of advanced Turkish and Iranian Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) alongside precision missile systems in the hands of a non-state actor is alarming. •The Chinese UAS Detection Footprint: Crucially, the discovery includes advanced UAS and low-altitude drone detection systems manufactured by China’s Hangzhou Star Sea Technology. These sophisticated electronic warfare systems were deployed by the TPLF to map airspace and neutralize the ENDF's tactical drone advantage. •State Accountability: High-tech military hardware and electronic warfare systems cannot simply be bought on the open market. They are strictly regulated under international arms transfer treaties. •The Critical Question: Did these foreign manufacturers and states directly facilitate these transfers, or did they allow their end-user certificates (EUC) to be violated through third-party supply lines? Either way, the negligence or complicity of these entities in fueling the conflict in Ethiopia must be rigorously scrutinized. 2. The Kenya MoD-Labeled Ammunition (14.5×114mm API): A Direct Supply Chain Breach One of the most damning pieces of evidence is the discovery of heavy 14.5×114mm API (Armor-Piercing Incendiary) ammunition explicitly bearing labels from the Kenya Ministry of Defence (MoD). •Severe Implications: State-stamped military ammunition does not vanish into thin air. Its presence on the battlefield means one of two things: direct institutional facilitation, or alarming corruption and a total failure within Kenya's military stockpile security. •Demanding Answers: How did sovereign military stockpiles belonging to Kenya’s Defence Forces end up equipping an armed group inside Ethiopia? Kenya’s defence establishment owes an immediate, transparent explanation to the region. 3. Regional Proxies and Funding: The Role of Egypt and Eritrea •Financial Backing: There are strong indications of substantial financial investments aimed at destabilizing Ethiopia, with Egypt’s strategic interests regarding the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam (GERD) aligning with efforts to weaken the Ethiopian state. •Logistical Channels: The entry of these heavy armaments through Eritrea’s borders underscoreshow regional transit points were actively or passively used to channel lethal capability into the conflict zone. Conclusion: The illegal flow of advanced weaponry into Northern Ethiopia is a clear violation of international law and sovereignty. The international community, alongside regional security bodies, must hold involved states whether suppliers, financiers, or transit facilitators directly accountable. Sovereign defense materials and advanced technology must not be weaponized to compromise Ethiopia’s integrity without consequences.

Na ndio guys will get to know why apartments charge very hectic service charge fees. Cleaning, Security and General Maintainance are very hectic services. They should have done a study of Greatwall Gardens.
I remember an Architect, @EricKigada saying this would happen. Those of us who read and realised he was right were called cynical doomers. And things have gone as exactly as expected. Quaint.

interestingly, the value of Kenya’s industrial and manufacturing is twice that of Ethiopia. $10 billion v. $5.3 billion. Manufacturing constitutes 7% of Kenya’s GDP and 25% of Ethiopia’s. but Ethiopia’s manufacturing is growing by double digits and Kenya only grew by 2.1% 🥲
