What changed in GO Club 2.0?
Nope, itās not just a redesign.
Weāve been talking to users, looking at the data, and questioning different flows in the app for a while now. We do this quite often with everything we build.
For 2.0, the big focus is on the things you might not immediately notice: reorganising the content hierarchy, grouping information better, improving visibility with better icons, using gradients where they actually help with legibility, and adding more depth to the walking and hydration summaries.
But itās not just those screens. We went through the entire product, screen by screen and flow by flow, looking at how information is presented, how people move through the app, and where we can make things clearer, simpler and more useful.
The biggest experiment weāre doing is the paywall.
Weāve tested a few approaches that worked really well with
@BoxBox_Club, and weāre bringing some of those learnings into
@goclub_app. Weāre also rethinking a few screens and flows that currently feel too lightweight.
Thatās probably my favourite part of being a design-founder. You get to look at your own product, question almost everything, and say, āWhat if we tried this?ā
Most of these changes come from a mix of user conversations, metrics, product experience, and a lot of assumptions that weāre willing to test.
None of this is a massive visual overhaul. Itās a lot of small decisions, pulled together carefully.
And sometimes, thatās what makes a product feel completely different.
