The story knows SCP 2000 it’s a horror concept and it didn’t pretend to be anything else
Zero Dawn wants the restoration to feel triumphant and the optimism feel very disingenuous

My biggest gripe with this show trying to become so serious is that half of the dialogue that tries to be serious is still “Written by Vivziepop”, but they had a good model to follow if they wanted to more naturally become more serialized and they’re blowing it.

E.g. : it's hard for me to find Spider-girl's portrayal of Flash interesting after Agent Venom had the idea to make him a cripple war vet.

I still think a lot about how much of a total drag the Nightmare on Elm Street reboot was. Despite having better fx technology and a way bigger budget, they decided to obliterate the most interesting aspect of the series and make the dreamscapes a glum nothing zone
