For Trail Running UK magazine, I wrote about doing the Source of the Nile Trail Run in #Uganda , a year ago. You don't have to read this to see I did actually do it (well the 12km, not the ultra). Just look at the pic of my face covered in dirt. #trailrunning #running #Africa

Only back here to report that it's nice over at Blueksy where homophobes, misogynists and other trolls are being blocked 🥳 (📸 from The Hague in September).

On #Bluesky here for those who have also gone over to it: amyfallon.bsky.social (Plus a Bluesky pic).

Read some of the responses to this and you'll see why the block button was a good idea.

Elon Musk removes blocking feature so he can finally see what his kids post

Happy Birthday Craig! 🎉

THREAD: 1. PERSONAL NEWS: Today BBC News has announced plans to close @BBCHARDtalk after 3 decades holding the world’s politicians and powerbrokers to account. This is sad news for me personally, but much more important, I think it’s depressing news for the BBC🧵

This is a perfect juxtaposition of what Australian journalism used to be and what it largely is now.

🚨 London Protest for Palestine ⏰ Saturday 19 October, 2-4PM 📍 Trafalgar Square, London Israel is intensifying its genocidal violence in Gaza, bombing Palestinians in hospitals, schools and refugee camps and burning those sheltering alive. Meanwhile our government refuses to take action to #StopArmingIsrael. If you live in London please join the protest for Palestine this Saturday as part of the Day of Action to demand our government institute a 2-way arms embargo on Israel.

Brilliant choice! 🎉

Hardly on this site now and it’s…good! Now doing Substack Notes instead.
