Other Options Exist, but Bluesky is the most fun-Twitter-like. I mainly hang out on Mastodon, but it's not a twitter replacement and doesn't want to be (which is why I enjoy it 🙃). Bluesky definitely scratches the itch, for me.

I'm writing a piece about housing, and am repeatedly finding that, while data on house *price* changes over time are readily available, data on *rent* are really patchy.
One would assume it's harder to collect? But there's a clear indication of who/what is considered important.

Pure evil optics, appealing to the worst voters. It won't save money, WILL destroy & mess up lives.

Working class people deserve access to art and these artworks are held in trust for everyone.
Why should the second largest city in the UK be forced to sell off its artworks when the government could simply fund our councils properly.
Birmingham City Council owns an artwork collection valued at almost half a billion pounds, a BBC investigation has discovered.
The scale of the council-owned art collection has also revealed.
