69 reasons yield-bearing stablecoins are the future of payments👇 Most stablecoins — like USDC, USDT, or MXNe — only hold value. They don’t generate it. That means every user and business loses the yield they could earn elsewhere — effectively a zero to one, in terms of opportunity cost. Yield-bearing stablecoins — such as our CETES, TESOURO, USTRY, EUROB, and GILTS — fix that by embedding yield from audited sovereign debt directly into the asset. The result is a lower cost structure: the yield offsets what non-yield coins lose. Businesses are rational. They’ll always move toward cheaper, safer, and more efficient options once they exist. If you’re building or integrating payments with non-yield stablecoins today, you’re likely spending 3–6 months on something that will be obsolete within a year. Your competitors will use yield-bearing stablecoins instead. They’ll process payments with lower costs and generate income from their float — across multiple currencies, not just USD. That advantage compounds over time. Companies holding non-yield stablecoins effectively subsidize their issuer’s margins. Those holding yield-bearing assets reduce their own cost base while earning a return from the same underlying stability. @etherfuse enables this model safely: - Bankruptcy-remote structures under Swiss law - Audited vaults holding only sovereign debt (CETES, TESOURO, GILTS, USTRY, EUROB) - Native and international payment rails, including SPEI for MXN This creates stability that earns, not just holds. Stablecoins solved for volatility. Yield-bearing stablecoins solve for efficiency. They’re not a trend — they’re the next standard for how money moves. Build for tomorrow.

Thank you @PodsFinance ! Etherfuse was in the house and our very own @andyfi was honored to participate! He'll be in Rio all week, reach out to him to meet up!
That's a wrap on Money Legos Rio. 🇧🇷 To everyone who joined us at Casa @lawi_io during @blockchain_rio week, thank you. Founders, builders, investors, and financial institutions filled the room, and the energy proved a point we believe in deeply: onchain finance in Brazil isn't a promise anymore. It's being built right now, one block at a time. From the panels on onchain finance as the winning infrastructure, to the conversations on navigating compliance and regulation, to every connection made over the course of the afternoon, this is exactly why we do this. A huge thank you to our co-hosts @BitGo and @lawi_io, to every speaker (@Ondo, @ZeomGlobal, @etherfuse, @chainlesscripto, @amuletslabs, @usePicnicBR, ABToken) who shared their perspective, and to each person who showed up ready to build. The pieces are coming together. And this is just the beginning. See you at the next one!

1/ Kazakhstan's central bank just approved Etherfuse to issue our core product, Stablebond, in-country. Here's why Kazakhstan matters more than people think. 🧵

5/ Here's the part everyone skips: corridors need collateral. Cross-border settlement in local currencies only works if there's liquid, programmable local-currency paper to settle into. That's sovereign debt. Enter @etherfuse

6/ @etherfuse tokenizes government bonds as onchain money — live in Mexico, Brazil, South Korea, the UK, and the US. Kazakhstan is where that meets a state actively wiring itself into the largest trade corridor on earth. Effectively bringing the "risk-free rate" onchain

Etherfuse has been admitted by the National Bank of Kazakhstan's to issue it's core products the Stablebond. I want to say something about why Kazakhstan, because I think it is widely underestimated. The National Bank's Chief Digital Officer, published a summary this week of Kazakhstan's financial infrastructure work with China: a new three-year tenge–renminbi swap line, digital tenge and digital yuan integration across mBridge and CBETS, a national gateway into CIPS, QR interoperability with UnionPay. Read together, it does not describe a series of bilateral deals. It describes a country deliberately building itself into the settlement layer between East and West. That is one of the many opportunities. Kazakhstan sits on the land bridge between China and Europe. It trades in every direction and has spent a decade making itself credible to all of them at once. Very few countries can convene Beijing, Brussels and Washington on financial infrastructure and be trusted by each. Kazakhstan can, and is doing it deliberately. Here is the part that gets missed: corridors need collateral. Cross-border settlement in national currencies only works if there is high-quality, liquid, programmable local-currency paper to settle into and hold between transactions. That is sovereign debt. That is precisely what we build. Etherfuse tokenizes government bonds and makes them function as onchain money — live today across Mexico, Brazil, South Korea, the United Kingdom and the United States. Kazakhstan is where that capability meets a state actively wiring itself into the largest trade corridor on earth. We intend to be the sovereign debt layer for that corridor. Grateful to the The National Bank of Kazakhstan, to JSC Halyk Finance, @cryptolgi, @farhaj, @SuperteamKZ and to the teams in Astana who spent months on this with us. We have permission to build. Now we execute. 🇰🇿🇰🇿🇰🇿
