These are not law enforcement officers, they're security, and they had no right to go up and try to take the citizens property! He defended himself from theft and had every right to! Security started it...

Security completely in the wrong. Dude may get assault for the punch but the guard should absolutely be fired, armed guard license revoked and charged with unlawful discharge of a firearm.

That man definitely put hands on him first when he went for his camera.

More importantly, they're just a guy hired to do what those in charge say and they'll shoot anyone using force to stop them. I say we simply bring our own security. If they don't let any guns but theirs in the building then we'll let them know their building has an army outside.

Oh shut the fuck up. He put his hands on a woman. That alone should tell you that he's a fucking idiot. Security is there SPECIFICALLY for things like this you morons... Pull a gun, nah, but grab him, yes... Fuck that retard.

Normally I would agree with you, however confiscation of property is not the same thing as assault and a court would most likely not consider it self defense. He was NOT in any harm or danger, and he absolutely used more force than was necessary to stop the situation.

His every right to defend himself got him a little less then 2 years in prison and now a convicted felon

That's not 'property' more than it is a means of harassment and intimidation. How he was using it, demanded it be taken away. And justifiably so.

So the fact the "victim" put his hands on a woman first makes no difference in you're eyes? I agree the gun being discharged was definitely not a good thing but this man started the domino effect by leaving his chair and approaching another person and touched them.

Bullet went through wall. Nobody was hit. (Accidental discharge) It was in his hand. Skidmore was charged with felonious assault among other counts, acquitted on the felonies, but convicted on misdemeanors and sentenced to 16 months, sparking ongoing debate over recording rights in public meetings versus use of force.

The only downside for this comment is that the stupid clown didn’t die.

I think those are cops. Its a courthouse, so the security guards tend to be police
15
I disagree. He wasn’t defending his property. The security guard was wrong to use a gun to restrain a person, the guy being thrown out for being too obnoxious. If a guard put hands on him before, he didn’t reported that at the time. He had no right to touch the female employee

That's ridiculous ! That guard had no right to try to take that man's property. And that woman was way out of line !

if it’s ordered no media, then it’s ordered no media. they can do the official recordings but someone sticking a camera in their face and then flipping out because they’re questioned- doesn’t make a good situation. they’re not media, nor “media.”

He has the same right against the police as well‼️

No right. Our teenagers have no right either here in the hood, but they do it anyway and get away with it all the time. Nobody gets outraged.
