Yesterday, CARTA unveiled the program's Strategic Plan 2026–2030 at its annual Partners' Forum, held this year in Lilongwe, Malawi.
While implementation has been underway since January, the occasion marked an important moment to formally unveil the strategy and bring partners together around the direction we are already pursuing.
Building on the successes, lessons, and opportunities of the last three strategic phases, the new strategy advances CARTA's ambition: from strengthening individual researchers to building sustainable, research-conducive institutions and a more resilient African research ecosystem.
