For the 6,000+ #AWS service API endpoints, awsipv6.neveragain.de shows which endpoints support #IPv6 by default, and which require additional client configuration. Important when considering an IPv6-only VPC.

I'm starting to think US tech wants revenge on Europe. The price markup for Frankfurt/eu-central-1 used to be ~15% ±5%. Today's AWS EventBridge launch prices event ingress at +31%. Event egress is +42%.
And btw, EUSC is usually another 10-15% on top of eu-central-1.

AWS coverage of IPv6 is sort of sufficient in 2026 . It used to be really really bad. But most core offerings now have it. Though it will require some tweaking of your aws SDK config for some services because aws hates you .
AWS finally let NAT Gateway auto-scale across AZs.
Everyone's calling it the death of AWS's favorite profit center. It's not 😅

PSA on t8i instances: The blog post's table is wrong, it lists half the RAM and credits – actually 0.5 / 1 / 2 / 4 GiB.
Other notes:
- price is up 20% over t3 (base and unlimited)
- size capped at .medium (4 GiB)
Great new default for low-CPU x86 workloads. Now do t8g...
T8i instances are GA: 30% better price performance than T3, 70% more compute, 2.4x EBS bandwidth. Same burstable model, just swap the instance type.

I rented some of the biggest network-optimized EC2 instances AWS has, including the 600 Gbps c8gn.48xlarge, and pointed a DPDK packet generator at them. Then did the same for the rest of the c8gn family.

DSQL adds foreign keys! Glad they did it, sad they had to. docs.aws.amazon.com/aurora-d… It will enable people to make far less optimal decisions and then blame DSQL for their pains.
