Those were the words Iranian protester Erfan Nabian says he heard in solitary confinement before he was handed a sheet of paper and asked what he wanted for his final meal.
Nabian, whose legal name is Erfan Hajbonian Dehaghani, is a 26-year-old protester from Isfahan who was sentenced to death after being detained following Iran’s nationwide protests in January.
Speaking to Iran International from an undisclosed location, Nabian described torture, a coerced confession, a mock execution and imprisonment alongside protesters who were later executed.

A senior hardline Iranian lawmaker has been named in an allegation involving unauthorized excavation for antiquities and treasure, while parliament is also examining a reported excavation case involving an unnamed member of the legislature.
Investigative journalist Yashar Soltani said he had obtained documents indicating that Mojtaba Zolnouri, a lawmaker from Qom and a figure associated with the hardline Paydari Front, was involved in unauthorized digging for historical artifacts and treasure.
“After oil, the Paydari camp is now after treasure,” Soltani wrote on X on Tuesday.
“I have obtained documents indicating that Mojtaba Zolnouri, the lawmaker representing Qom, was involved in unauthorized excavation in search of historical artifacts and treasure,” he added.

بر اساس اطلاعات تازه رسیده به ایران‌اینترنشنال، هادی عباسیان، ۳۸ ساله و از بازداشت‌شدگان انقلاب ملی در شیروان، به اتهام «بغی» و بر اساس ماده ۲۸۷ قانون مجازات اسلامی به اعدام محکوم شده است.
در روند رسیدگی به پرونده عباسیان، فعالیت‌های او در اینستاگرام و انتشار ویدیوهایی درباره اعتراضات از جمله موارد مطرح‌شده علیه او بوده است.
عباسیان پیش از بازداشت در یکی از ویدیوهای منتشرشده در صفحه اینستاگرام خود، با تاکید بر اعتراضش گفته بود: «من اعتراض دارم، از حرفم هم کوتاه نمی‌آیم. ولی اگر مشکلی برای من پیش آمد، در جریان باشید.»
او در ادامه، نسبت دادن اتهام‌هایی چون ارتباط با اسرائیل و «تروریستی» خواندن معترضان را رد کرد و گفت: «اعتراض داریم، به همه‌چیز اعتراض داریم، روی حرفمان هم هستیم... هیچ ترسی هم از هیچ‌کسی ندارم.»
بر اساس اطلاعات رسیده، دادگاه انقلاب بجنورد فعالیت‌های عباسیان را مصداق «قیام مسلحانه علیه اساس نظام جمهوری اسلامی ایران» دانسته و با استناد به ماده ۲۸۷ قانون مجازات اسلامی برای او حکم اعدام صادر کرده است.

I commend the October 5 joint statement by the United States, Argentina, Canada, Colombia, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, Guyana, Paraguay, Peru, and Trinidad and Tobago. Their collective denunciation of the Islamic Republic directly exposes the criminal regime's global lawlessness, including its terrorist plotting, illicit fundraising, political interference, and active threats to the security of the Western Hemisphere.
We have long warned that the regime’s presence in South and Central America, under the guise of commerce, is merely a cover for collaborating with drug cartels, money laundering operations, and terrorist networks.
This declaration proves that governments across the Americas, particularly new administrations across South America, recognize this severe threat. This is underscored by the recent, bold decisions by Colombia and Peru to sever diplomatic ties with the outlaw regime in Tehran.
