Far-right activist Tommy Robinson is back in court today facing harassment charges, with the world's richest man, Elon Musk, bankrolling his legal battles.
Robinson appeared in court charged with two counts of harassment causing fear of violence against two MailOnline journalists.
Prosecutors allege he threatened the reporters through social media messages and a phone call. Robinson denies both charges.
Musk has been funding Robinson's legal costs across multiple cases, with Robinson claiming that one case alone cost hundreds of thousands of pounds.
The billionaire's financial backing comes on top of the hundreds of thousands of pounds Robinson has separately raised from his supporters to fund his activities and legal battles.
