On @CNNSOTU with @DanaBashCNN this morning. I said three things: 1. Political leaders are accountable for public health decisions, not the scientists who advise them 2. The vaccine-autism question has been studied for 25 years. The answer hasn't changed: there is no link 3. Right now too many kids are getting measles that vaccinations prevent, too many people are getting cyclospora that better tracking prevents, and ranchers are losing cattle to a pest we eliminated from this country in 1966. Three outbreaks at levels we haven't seen in years. None of them are coincidence. Stick around for the end — my view on COVID origins.

My view on COVID origins isn't new — I've held it since my time at the White House Here's the truth: no one in America knows for sure. Anyone telling you they do is selling you something Based on strong circumstantial evidence I've seen, I think lab leak is much more likely. Not engineered. Not deliberate. Accidental Reasonable people can look at the same evidence and disagree

Dr Jha, I’m in utter shock over what you said and what you then wrote. I urge you to retract this statement & apologize.
I’m not sure I’ve heard anything more deplorable than what former Biden COVID adviser @ashishkjha told @DanaBashCNN & proudly tweeted👇 “Political leaders are accountable table for public health decisions, not the scientists who advise them.” SERIOUSLY? Medical malpractice is OK when you’re advising hundreds of millions of patients instead of just one? NO! In fact, when you are in a sacred, trusted public health role, your advice is taken as FACT by political leaders. You should be criminally liable for causing widespread harm due to FIRM advice that you say is “the science” and “the science has been settled.” If a doctor tells a patient with a suspicious lump on a mammogram to ignore it and that patient follows the doctor’s advice, you don’t blame the patient for listening to bad advice when it turns out to have been metastatic cancer. You blame the physician for negligence. For not following up diligently OR referring to another doctor who knows more. Doctors are NOT expected to know everything. I learned the hard way during med school and residency that sometimes the correct answer is “I don’t know. Let’s ask others for advice” rather than making something up just to sound confident. It’s not like hundreds of doctors weren’t regularly telling Dr Jha & Dr Fauci they’re wrong. They heard us but they belittled & silenced us. “Fringe epidemiologists” we were called. If you don’t want to be personally accountable to the American people, it’s easy — don’t take a major public health job. Yes, you get lots of photos with the President. Yes, you get lots of speaking fees and book deals. But with that trust comes a serious JOB. Go do vitamin infomercials or peddle fake longevity treatments. Open a weight loss clinic. Give people Botox. Do anything EXCEPT public health. With that big title & all the TV attention comes the UNGLAMOROUS JOB of doing the right thing. I will not let this go. Dr Jha must retract this statement & apologize to the American people. We need HUMILITY & a sense of DUTY, HONOR & COUNTRY among all our public health leaders. 🇺🇸

1) Nice try, but you are responsible. If you’re *obviously lying* that’s even worse, but if you go on TV and advocate “the American people need to do X” then you are responsible for whatever fallout occurs. We all know why none of you ever want to be accountable

Amazing that you’re still doing the responsibility shift dance even years after the evasive move has been meme When it comes to holding politicians responsible, they say we were just following the best advice of the top experts in the country Enough

This you?
Heard about the "Great Barrington Declaration"? Calls for herd immunity while "protecting the vulnerable" Its junk science. And like junk food, tastes great but zero nutritional value Don't take my word for it Here's the great Dr. Fauci explaining why its utter nonsense

"1. Political leaders are accountable for public health decisions, not the scientists who advise them" While legally correct, ethically this dude should never be trusted by anyone again. The guy was a White House advisor and got nearly everything wrong.

Fauci didn’t make honest mistakes. He lied. He covered up his personal responsibility for the Wuhan lab leak. That is criminal.

I have been a physician for 46 years. I have known some brilliant clinicians and medical researchers as well as some with very limited ability. @ashishkjha is ones of the most intellectually limited or criminally dishonest physicians I have ever encountered, with his uncanny ability to be wrong with almost every utterance from his mouth. Of course, physicians are liable for the medical advice they give, especially when their is evidence of negligence, such as Anthony Fauci’s and @RWalensky’s admitted lies to the American public. @CNNSOTU @DanaBashCNN @CNN @cnnbrk

When the public health official clearly lies to the duly elected president, and senate, like Fauci, your first point is moot. We have his diaries. We have seen his lies. In a situation this serious, lying like this should be considered treason and punished by the same means.

Thanks to Dana Bash for reminding RFK Jr. that he is not a scientist. He also has zero medical, scientific, healthcare, or research background. He tried to demean you but you stood your ground. He was the one getting flustered. Dr. Jha should’ve been on the panel with Bash & RFK.

CDC data show HUNDREDS of sudden deaths among infants and toddlers within days of MMR vaccination, amounting to 2,657% MORE DEATHS than measles itself. The children died from SUDDEN INFANT DEATH SYNDROME, CARDIAC ARREST, AND ENCEPHALITIS. The vaccine should NEVER kill more than the disease.

Oh please. If Trump disagreed with Fauci then the corrupt MSM, starting with CNN who shamefully glorified the Cuomo brothers would have crucified Trump. Thank God for DeSantis who openly defied Fauci for which Fauci hated DeSantis and tried to destroy him. Fauci was a false God.

Why are we listening to this supposed Doctor Who has been wrong about everything Covid related for six years? This idiot was one of the people that encouraged the Biden administration to force upon Americans and military personnel this emergency use authorization gene therapy toxin. The Supreme Court threw that forced vaccination out on the private side, but our military suffered far longer. This man should be in jail

Well there is this…
We sent our 52-page autism study directly to RFK Jr... Days later, the CDC changed its website to say: “The claim ‘vaccines do not cause autism’ is NOT an evidence-based claim.” The 30-year lie that “vaccines don’t cause autism” has officially been TERMINATED. Our peer-reviewed study found 79% (107 of 136) of vaccine-related studies showed a POSITIVE LINK to autism, neurodevelopmental disorders, and/or brain damage. Autism prevalence skyrocketed 32,000% as vaccine makers obtained full liability protection and the vaccine schedule grew to 72 doses.

correlation does not equal causation. but correlation also implies a very clear link. No vaccines no autism. That's pretty clear.

This is from the former White House COVID coordinator, right? The subject matter expert who said “I really believe this is why God gave us two arms, one for the flu shot and the other for the COVID shot.” And you want me to trust you with my, my children’s, and my grandchildren’s health? Really? And he was the Dean of the Brown School for Public Health?!?! You all are certifiable. Say it again, out loud, in a crowded room, “I really believe this is why God gave us two arms, one for the flu shot and the other for the COVID shot.” The banality of evil.

You say new evidence led to your change in view on the likelihood of a lab-mediated spillover vs. a market-mediated spillover. Do tell, what new evidence led to that change in view? Or was it really vibes and political expediency?

Dr. Ashish Jha, the White House COVID-19 Response Coordinator, stated that "God gave us two arms — one for the flu shot and the other one for the COVID shot." He made this remark during press briefings in September 2022 and again in November 2022 to encourage Americans to receive both vaccines simultaneously.

You are so full of bullshit. Every time Trump tried to push Fouchie away you and your ilk cry that he wasn't listening to the experts. The shit you spew is amazing

when you read Arun series book, you will find that the 25 years of autism study that you allude to have concluded nothing of the sort. In fact, they have really concluded nothing.

Nobody took America's confidence away from the experts. They spent it themselves, and now they want sympathy for being broke. Take some responsibility and clean up your own house before you lecture the rest of us.

I listened to the Bash interview with RFK, Jr and I thought when RFK suggested 8 childhood vaccines have not been studied to find a potential link to autism she would have been more professional to probe that statement and ask if their are current studies on those 8 vacvines. After the interview I realized Bash was probing for NEW information; her goal was to trash and embarrass the HHS secretary, nothing more. She had an opportunity to better understand what the HHS Secretary is doing, but decided confrontation and continued ignorance is preferred!

Since the first measles vaccine is given at 12-15 months of age, and is 93% effective, and RFK has only been in his position for a couple years, what exact population of people could he possibly expose? Are all the measles cases 1 year old kids that didn't get vaccinated?

Ashish, you need to read Aaron Siri's book, Vaccines, Amen! About the "religion" of vaccines. Can you comprehend that Fauci was behind a program of developing and testing bioweapon viruses and treatments and vaccines on Americans? a.co/d/0jaiNJXR

The virus came from human made engineering , and this was funded and supported by Anthony Fauci. He literally allowed a bioweapon to be released onto the world. This is evil and one of the worst atrocities in our world’s history. As such, this demon should be held accountable.
