The irony of #Trump promising $5k to every American: his tariffs and conflict with Iran damaged personal finances so badly that struggling voters might support him in the midterms anyway. He hurts everyone’s checkbook, then offers a quick fix only if he stays in power. Trump is the King of Grift.

This is pretty accurate in regards to Trump and his sheepish base who believe every lie that comes out of his mouth. Trump has said anything and everything to get elected two times. He’s doing it a third time to maintain power and guess what, his base will vote in his favor.
