Families have raised concerns for years about social media features designed to keep kids scrolling. Meta’s settlement of up to $17.1 billion gives states an opportunity to put real resources toward the youth mental health services so many communities urgently need.
ALT Quote from Marianne Gibson about states using resources thoughtfully to ensure kids have what they need in care.
A huge thank you to El Paso Behavioral Health System for sponsoring this year’s NAMIWalks! 💚 Your support helps us raise awareness, foster hope, and bring our community together for mental health.
Why did Allah test some of the best women with loneliness?
Hajar was left alone with her son.
Maryam (peace be upon her) was also left alone.
And the mother of Musa endured immense pain when she placed her son in the river.
Sometimes Allah removes every source of support from you to teach you that your true support is Allah.
So if you find yourself alone in a battle that no one understands, perhaps it is because Allah has chosen to take care of you Himself.
Allah remains when no one else remains by your side.
Your wife isn't yours to control—she's God's daughter, entrusted to your care.
Pastor Paul Washer reminds husbands that biblical leadership isn't about power or manipulation. It's about discipleship, prayer, humility, and helping one another become more like Christ.
“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing that by the power of the Holy Spirit you will abound in hope and overflow with confidence in His promises.” Romans 15:13
“Instead of waiting for the day you become perfect, be patient with yourself and meet your struggle with kindness. Rather than becoming someone who never falls apart, healing is about becoming someone who doesn’t feel shame when encountering obstacles.” twloha.com/blog/the-power-of…
You've done so much. You're doing a lot. Just remember to take some time to just breathe, shut out all the noise, and relax. You matter as much as your dream.
Exciting Project Launch for Neurodivergent & Neuro-Questioning Women & Girls!
We are thrilled to officially launch our brand-new project: "Earlier Support, Reduced Crisis, Better
Outcomes’. This initiative is proudly funded by the
GAVO Further Faster Small Grant Scheme and supported by TVA, the Gwent Regional Partnership Board, and Welsh Government across Caerphilly and Torfaen.
At AP Cymru, everything we do is driven by the invaluable value of rich lived experience. We operate strictly through neuro-affirming practices, meaning we don't look to "fix" or change who you are. Instead, we champion a strengths-based approach that celebrates your unique mind, builds self-advocacy, and nurtures long-term independence and well-being.
Whether you have a diagnosis or are currently neuro-questioning and trying to make sense of your experiences—we believe you, and no formal diagnosis is required. You belong here.
We are kickstarting the project with our first interactive online workshop: The Push & Pull of AuDHD.
Date: Thursday, 8th October
Time: 10:00am - 12:00pm
Where: Online via Microsoft Teams
Looking Ahead: This is just the beginning! We will be running additional sessions and exploring new topics under this project until the end of March 2027. More information on future face-to-face and online dates will be posted very soon.

We’ve never had more ways to stay connected.
Messages. Social media. Group chats. Video calls.
So why are so many people still feeling alone?
Sometimes being connected isn’t the same as feeling understood.
This Mental Health Month, check in on someone properly.
Not just “how are you?”
Ask them how they’re really going.

The State of Pediatric OCD Care in the United States White Paper is now live!
Too many children with OCD face delays, barriers, and challenges accessing the specialized care they need. Losing Childhood to America’s OCD Care Crisis, a new white paper from the International OCD Foundation, examines the current state of pediatric OCD care and what needs to change.
Up to 2 million children and adolescents in the U.S. may be living with OCD, yet new findings from the IOCDF show that most are going unrecognized—and very few are receiving the treatment proven to help.
With OCD Awareness Week beginning October 11, we’ll be sharing their stories, key findings from the white paper, resources for families, and ways we can work toward a future where every child with OCD has access to appropriate care
