Seems like the group that might be most impacted by new wave of AI are ... interns 😢
Many tasks interns do are "hard to automate/scale," but "repetitive/boring," and "low/medium need for domain expertise." That's where the new tools seem to do well.

Isn't it kind of sad when certain job listings in tech, startups, or VC specify "banking or consulting" as a good background for a candidate?
I get those are good training grounds, but isn't that low-key discouraging uncredentialed talent with big upside?

I have a beautiful ritual with my 8 year old. She bikes, I run alongside her ... and she pours out all the conspiracy theories, fake science, and doubtful "fun facts," she's been learning about on YouTube.

How long until there’s a certification/label for art, music, writing — maybe even code — that is human-made as opposed to machine (AI-generated)?

This is a great point. I'd add audio. AV is trapped in the internet like oil before fracking. Finding the right videos or audio clips is being back on the 1997 internet. Try it: search for a specific sound-byte across podcasts, look for videos in which X person appears.
Internet users consume way more video than text, yet the web's core infrastructure is still built around text.
What does the web of video look like? At a minimum, we need better search engines.
This is one of the most interesting domains to apply AI breakthroughs today.
