Isn't it kind of sad when certain job listings in tech, startups, or VC specify "banking or consulting" as a good background for a candidate? I get those are good training grounds, but isn't that low-key discouraging uncredentialed talent with big upside?

It's about the framing. You'll get the bankers and consultants without asking for them, I think.

100% "Earned secrets" don't often emerge from within traditional silos. First you need problem-solving social-capatalists to create new value. Then when it precipitates into financial capital, they need help managing risk.
