All illnesses, ailments, and dysfunction are actually healing mechanisms.
When the natural, coherent state of the body is faced with an opposing force, it protects itself. That protection mechanism, which is actually a healing mechanism, is addressed in the modern world as a "symptom."
We've been taught to believe that symptoms are inherently bad, and that we need to suppress those symptoms by any means necessary.
When you understand that those "symptoms" are the healing mechanism itself, you begin to understand why there is so much suffering going on in the world.
We are treating the holy grail (our divinely created vessel) like its a dysfunctional, broken piece of shit.
When we get a fever, we take Tylenol.
When we come down with a cold or a cough, we take advil.
When we get diagnosed with diabetes, we get insulin therapy.
When we're diagnosed with High blood pressure, we are given beta blockers.
The list goes on forever... and applies to EVERYTHING, including heart attacks. That one is hard to grasp for most.
And in every single one of those cases, we are being given the thing that suppresses the natural healing mechanism of the body.
Instead of supporting the body in its divine efforts, we are working against it.
This will be an eye opening perspective for most. It was for me, but the second I heard it, it resonated deep within me.
It makes so much sense.
The main function of the entire body is to protect itself and heal itself as quickly as possible in order to stay "alive."
What we consider to be the disease, the dysfunction, the illness, etc... is all just our body healing itself.
Sometimes the vessel can handle the healing, and sometimes it's too intense, and it can't.
The more you open your mind to this, the more you realize how powerful and intricate our body really is... and how backwards the entire sick care system is.
If you read this far, I hope you sit with this and really let it digest. This will change your life quickly.
God/source/whatever you believe in created us with the utmost intention. Every single intricate part of us is there for a reason. Nothing is accidental and our bodies are absolutely not dysfunctional.
Our inputs and our environments are creating the perception of dysfunction... when in reality, that "dysfunction" is what is keeping us alive!
Many illnesses are, at their core, a nervous system issue.
This is why the same people get sick with so many comorbidities
- Chronic fatigue
- CIRS
- IBD
- Histamine intolerance
- Mold sensitivity
- MCAS
- Candida overgrowth
- SIBO
- Dysautonomia
- hEDS
These are bidirectional. They all flare your nervous system and your nervous system flares them all back. You can address them with targeted interventions and they will improve. But if you want to get to the ROOT, you must take a nervous system-centric approach.
