Take a shower with the lights off. Physiological sighs. Powerful night routine.
Night routine take magnesium glycinate, NAC, sleep caps, throw on blue blockers, pet the dogs, lay in bed with my wife, stop eating food, light candles in the house/turn on low lux lights, meditation routine, goodnight.

I never needed any research to know that blue/green-heavy fluorescent lighting is satanic mitochondrial poison. When I was an undergrad I didn’t know anything about this, but in an A&P class mostly full of nursing students, we once had the class effectively shut down because me and one other person refused to participate in a class where they turned the shades down on the windows to prevent sunlight from coming in and turned on the overhead fluorescent lights. I don’t even remember what the rest of the class’s argument was. It might have been that the light coming in from the windows created a problem with the angle. Or maybe some of them were using laptops and the sun was causing a glare. But two of us were just sensitive enough to know we didn’t feel well with the fluorescent lights on. To be honest I can still sense that I could probably become psychotic if I spent all my time under them. I am quite sure that many people who are psychotic are psychotic precisely because they spend all their time under these deranged lights. I instantly feel that I am not truly in the real world when I move from sunlight into these God-forsaken evil lights. Our argument was in any case what is wrong with sunlight? What is wrong with someone who shuts out sunlight so they can bask themselves in artificial light? This is like throwing out fresh meat and berries so you can eat dog food made by a machine.
🚨🚨🚨 Blue light exposure from LEDs induces progressive weight gain, metabolic dysfunction, and multiorgan pathology in mice. A new preprint by Glen Jeffery and colleagues out of Kuwait found that mice exposed to 450 nm blue light at an intensity within the range of human environmental exposures exhibited: - progressive weight gain despite reduced food intake - altered glucose tolerance and insulin sensitivity - Increased adipose tissue mass - organ weights (heart, liver, kidney, testis) were each reduced by ~10% - fat deposition - hepatocellular degeneration - renal tubular damage - steatosis - impaired testicular architecture @RogerSeheult @hubermanlab @AbudBakri @KenDBerryMD @seagertp @BlueLightDiet @zaidkdahhaj @rowanjacobsen @ChrisMasterjohn

Your nervous system capacity is the bottleneck of your business. Some learn this the hard way after years of clenching at a computer… The nervous system retaliates and you end up with some mystery pain or “autoimmune disease” When in reality you’re addicted to stress, and the emotions of a nervous system in overdrive. Unless you do a hard reset and rewrite the story your nervous system has been living in you’ll remain the bottleneck. I’m hosting a 5-day retreat in Mexico, if this post spoke to you in some way I’d love to see if you’re a fit. November 4-9, my first retreat, and it’s gonna be life changing for people.

Nerd out with me for a minute. Your vessel walls carry opsins — light sensors in the same family as the ones in your eye.

Sunlight has the ability to influence your mood, metabolism, sleep, immune function, hormones, cellular health, energy levels and a lot more. Do not underestimate what going outside can do for you.

A hallway light left on is not neutral. A phone face-up on the nightstand is not neutral. Cardiac MRI now ties light after dusk to thicker heart walls and a weaker squeeze — years before a diagnosis. Darkness is a cardiovascular exposure.

Night is anabolic. Day is the photic pacemaker. Opsin’s darkness window is not aesthetic. It is the nocturnal half of a cardiovascular input. Darkness is not the absence of a lifestyle tip. It is a vital sign the heart can feel.
