כלי תקשורת פלסטינים פרסמו לפני ארבעה ימים תיעוד של פלסטינים שנכנסו למחנה הפליטים ג'נין שנמצא כרגע תחת שליטת צה"ל כדי לאסוף חפצים מבתיהם וסומנו בטוש. צה"ל השיב בדקות האחרונות: "שיקול דעת מוטעה, הנהלים חודדו והופקו לקחים בנושא". עוד נכתב בהודעה כי במהלך כניסה מתואמת של 100 פלסטינים, תושבים פעלו בניגוד להנחיות של חלוקת המחנה לפוליגונים (תתי אזורים) והחלו לשוטט במקום בצורה בלתי מבוקרת. "בתום הערכת מצב שהתקיימה בנושא, על מנת להסיר את הסכנה הביטחונית שבשיטוט במקום ללא היערכות מותאמת, ועל מנת לאפשר את המשך הכניסה כמתוכנן, כוחות הביטחון סימנו ביוזמת התושבים הפלסטינים את האות והספרה המסמנים את הפוליגון הייעודי אליו התיאום נדרש, באמצעים שעמדו לרשותם"

الجيش الإسرائيلي ينشر مشاهد قال إنها توثّق لحظة قصف مقاومين في رفح خرجوا من نفق، لكن في الحقيقة فهي توثّق لحظة قصف نقطة شرطة .
ويزعم الجيش أنه رصد مقاومين يخرجون من نفق في رفح، ونشر الفيديو أدناه كدليل على روايته. إلا أن الفيديو يفند هذا الادعاء إلى حد كبير، إذ يتبين أنه يعود لنقطة الشرطة التي قصفها، على حد زعمه، ردًا على ما يدعيه.
ويُذكر أن الجيش الإسرائيلي كان قد أعلن الأسبوع الماضي أنه دمّر جميع الأنفاق في رفح وقتل كافة المسلحين هناك
