Neglecting this pushes youth into crime, prostitution, and unwanted pregnancies, fueling the push for abortion legalization. It also drives them toward alcohol and drug abuse, contributing to the challenges of an unproductive youth.

🚨 WARNING TO NAMIBIANS 🚨 The Electoral Commission of Namibia (ECN) just awarded the contract for printing our 2024 election ballots to Ren-Form, a South African company embroiled in a R570 million corruption scandal in Zimbabwe. Yes, you read that right. Ren-Form is under investigation for price gouging the Zimbabwean Electoral Commission, invoicing them for R23 million on items that should cost R90,000. That’s who is now in charge of printing the most critical tool of our democracy—our ballots! 💀 How can we trust that this process will be fair and free when ECN is handing over our election materials to a company with a history of fleecing countries? This has been scientifically validated by various studies to be by far the fastest and most cost-efficient in addressing poverty, and will have a much more impactful effect on the security of nutritional food for families which is a major driver of poverty in Namibia.

If they are serious about ending poverty, a universal/unconditional BIG of N$500/person/month for all Namibians aged 0-59, represents a better strategy to do it.

Conditional/targeted classic welfare programmes, such as the Harambee Cash Grant, have been proven to be more expensive, wasteful and ineffective at ending poverty.

Poverty levels in Namibia have become a humanitarian crises. More than half of the Namibian population suffers from hunger, with 58% food insecure, according to the Food and Agriculture Organisation's (FAO).

They went ahead to base the Harambee Cash Grant on the failed feeding scheme (as per the Auditor General’s 2023 report), which is discriminatory towards many Namibians and has no impact on poverty and inequality reduction.

The PM of Singapore flies economy—no private jet, no entourage—just respect for taxpayers. Meanwhile, in developing nations, leaders cruise in state jets, far removed from the people’s struggles. Leadership isn’t about luxury; it’s about setting an example.
