The affiliate discourse will never not make me laugh. 😭 Some of the loudest people criticizing affiliates have sold Discords, signals, courses, subscriptions, coaching—or taken partnerships with big fat retainers where they get a guaranteed check upfront. But somehow the person who spends hours researching, creating educational content, answering questions, teaching and live trading FOR FREE is the greedy one because they have… a referral code? Be serious. 😂 I don’t get paid upfront to research. I don’t charge you to watch me trade. I don’t put every useful piece of information behind a paywall. I give away more of my time and knowledge for free than I ever get paid for. If somebody finds value in what I do and chooses to use my code, I might make something. If they don’t, I make $0. Meanwhile, some of the same people criticizing that won’t lift a finger unless there’s guaranteed money attached to it. And the “I use prop firms, I just don’t use affiliate codes” crowd might be my favorite. Cool. 😂 You’ll use the research. You’ll watch the content. You’ll learn from the breakdowns. You’ll ask questions. You’ll take the information. You’ll happily support the company you’re buying from—you just make a point of bypassing the person who spent their own time helping you make an informed decision. That’s like telling your server: “I loved the service. You answered every question, explained the menu and took care of me all night. I’m absolutely paying the restaurant. I just don’t believe in tipping.” The audacity isn’t even the funniest part.
