Donald Trump set another record. There’s NEVER been an election (since polling began in the United States) where voters said “corruption” was their top worry. Until now.

Alex Gibney: “A lot of these deaths related to Full Self Driving or Autopilot, 67 so far. If that had happened at GM over a brake malfunction, it would be massive congressional hearings. A lot of those things were settled so the actual facts of the matter wouldn’t come to light. In the film, we have the case of one which is a pedestrian who was killed by a runaway Tesla with malfunctioning Autopilot. They took that to trial and won a rather massive judgement and the evidence is overwhelming not only how bad the system was, but also how hard Tesla tried to hide the evidence of malfeasance. In a lot of cases, Autopilot has a function where milliseconds before the car slams into a wall, Autopilot will turn off, and so Tesla can say with a straight face Autopilot was not engaged at the time of the crash”

Justin J. Pearson on data centers: “It’s the clearest example of the billionaire class attacking the rest of us, forcing things into our communities without our wish, our will, or our desire to the point that they’re now taking our fresh drinking water to cool these data centers. To take the jobs of graphic designers, attorneys, journalists. We’re being told by the president and these billionaires and Elon Musk this is just necessary, just take it. This is literally choking the life out of the people in our communities. We’re being told we must sacrifice our lives for the benefit of NVIDIA, Elon Musk and SpaceXAI, Microsoft or Google. I don’t think that’s a tradeoff everyday people are willing to make”

He didn’t do any of it, just invested it in, it’s really easy to just write checks while other people do the work and invent the things.
Elon musk managed to do all of this in just one lifetime.

Maybe electing people who hate government to run the government was a bad idea after all, like hiring a plumber who hates pipes then wondering why you have leaks.
