The biggest in-person Canton Network hackathon of the year arrives tomorrow! The team is hugely excited to host builders from Oxford, Cambridge and Imperial College London tomorrow, at our dedicated @CantonNetwork hackathon. From 10am-10pm at 83 Rivington Street, we'll be undertaking a day of technical workshops, guest appearances, and of course, building in the Daml smart contract language. Canton processes $​9T+ in monthly settlement volume. 600+ institutions including JPMorgan, DTCC, Goldman Sachs, Broadridge, and Visa run production operations on it. Until Zenith, the only way to access that ecosystem as a developer was to learn Daml, a powerful language purpose-built for institutional contracts and entirely unfamiliar to most of the developer community that built DeFi.
