Wait so you’re telling me we have the technology to make telescopes that can observe distant galaxies and Flock cameras that can read obscured license plates but we still can’t make motion censored public restroom faucets that stay on log enough to completely wash your hands?

O merciful God, take pity on those souls who have no particular friends and intercessors to recommend them to Thee, who, either through the negligence of those who are alive,Or through length of time are forgotten by their friends and by all.
Spare them, O Lord, and remember Thine own mercy, when others forget to appeal to it. Let not the souls which Thou hast created be parted from thee, their Creator.
May the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
Amen.

• St. Padre Pio says
"Be cheerful. Jesus will take care of everything.
Let us trust in Jesus and our Heavenly Mother and everything will work out well."

If I still lived in New York I’d throw every spare penny and volunteer hour I had behind getting this woman elected. Godspeed.
Locked shelves. Closed stores. Higher prices. Failed leadership.
As Attorney General, I’ll crack down on organized retail theft to make New York safer and more affordable.

Catholic drip comes in many flavors
People often don't know this fact about Fulton J. Sheen, who will be beatified this coming Thursday:
As a Latin Rite Catholic bishop, Fulton Sheen received special papal permission from the great anti-communist Pope Pius XII to celebrate the Divine Liturgy in the Byzantine Rite. Sheen used this permission to show spiritual closeness and solidarity with Eastern Christians facing severe persecution by communist regimes behind the Iron Curtain during the Cold War.

This. This is why I’m Catholic. God’s grace overflowing.
This video of the Catholic priest in Minnesota has been going viral. During Holy Mass on the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, he became visibly overwhelmed while pronouncing the words of consecration and struggled to continue with the elevation of the chalice.

A very logical result of flooding the workforce with too many college educated workers who were sold a bill of lies that says skilled labor is less dignified than office work and it’s worth going into significant debt to maybe one day get an email job.
JUST IN: Americans without college degrees are seeing one of the best job markets in decades, per WSJ
