That is not a factual summary of Trump’s UN speech. It is a promotional rewrite that turns his opinions, boasts and predictions into facts. The UN does not “ignore” persecution of Christians. UN experts publicly warned about killings, abductions, forced conversion and other abuses against Christian minorities in Nigeria in June 2026, while the UN Special Rapporteur on freedom of religion or belief conducted a country mission there that same month. Trump did demand that ICC members leave the Court. But calling it an “anti American tribunal with no jurisdiction” is his political characterisation. The Rome Statute allows ICC jurisdiction in certain circumstances when alleged crimes occur on the territory of a member state, even when the accused is from a country that is not a member. Cuba “will fall” is a prediction, not an achievement. And its delegation walked out. Reuters did not report officials “storming out.” Trump is correct that there is no general human right simply to enter another country unlawfully. But international refugee law also says qualifying refugees must not be punished merely for irregular entry when specified conditions are met. Pretending asylum law does not exist changes the legal picture completely. UNESCO does not control immigration policy or order countries to accept migrants. Its migration work largely concerns education, displaced people and cultural protection. Saying UNESCO is “pushing mass migration that destroys Western cultures” is political rhetoric, not a description of its legal powers. Trump claimed he was the first to cut the UN budget by 15 percent. Yet António Guterres proposed a 15.1 percent reduction under the UN80 reform programme in 2025. UN budgets had also fallen before. The 2018 and 2019 budget was about 5 percent below the preceding biennium. The border reduction is real and substantial. “ZERO illegal aliens admitted” is not the same as zero illegal crossings. FactCheck found 9,295 apprehensions in July 2026 alone, plus documented people who crossed and evaded apprehension. What reached zero was releases of apprehended migrants into the United States under the previous system. “While others talked peace, he MADE peace” is a slogan, not an accounting of current conflicts. Russia and Ukraine are still at war, while Trump used the same UN speech to defend the US war against Iran and threaten to “annihilate the Islamic Republic” if no agreement is reached. The claim that warnings about depleted US munitions were simply “fake” is also Trump's assertion. AP reported that defence experts had raised genuine concerns about US weapons stocks. The Venezuela oil agreement is real, but “largest oil deal in history” is the Trump administration's description. The disclosed structure gives the US a 35 percent stake in the corporate parent and guaranteed access to 20 percent of production at cost from concessions covering about 65 billion barrels. That is rather different from America simply acquiring 65 billion barrels of Venezuelan oil. The Greenland agreement is also real, but Denmark and Greenland explicitly say sovereignty remains Danish and Greenlandic self determination remains intact. It expands US military and security rights. It does not make Greenland American territory. And “Artificial Intelligence is now Super Intelligence” is a branding decision by Trump, not a scientific breakthrough. So yes, Trump said much of this. But saying something at the UN does not magically turn it into a verified fact.

The reason investigations are conducted before reflexively making a judgement is because no one knows all the facts in the immediate aftermath of a tragedy. You unfortunately have already concluded, without all the evidence, that the victim was a deranged leftist trying to run the officer over, and that the officer was defending himself. New evidence, however, suggests the victim was a U.S. citizen, a mother of three, a Christian and had recently dropped her child off at school. Additional video footage also suggests the second and third shots fired by the officer occurred when the officer was to the side of the vehicle as the car was driving away. Under the law each firing of the gun is analyzed separately. Witness testimony also suggests one of the ICE agents told the driver to MOVE, MOVE, MOVE. The driver may have been trying to comply with potentially conflicting instructions from different agents. Slow motion video from various angles also shows the vehicle appears to have been turning when the officer fired the first shot, and certainly that was the case by the second and third shots. Your reflexive never admit wrong approach is not only based on zero investigations, it also leads to increased risks to federal officers. The American people will get increasingly agitated and angry if they believe the Trump Administration will never hold anyone accountable ever. If you want to bring down the temperature, if you want to reduce the risks of violence against federal officers, then you need the American people to believe that you and the Administration will make decisions based on facts and will comply with the rule of law. It is also highly suspicious that the Administration is refusing to cooperate with local and state officials as they conduct their investigations. There is no reason to make the American people think there is some sort of coverup. Allow all the investigations to be conducted fairly and with transparency. So I respectfully request that you and the Administration stop pre-judging this case, and stop making incendiary or smear the victim comments that appear to be contradicted by additional new evidence. I also request that the federal officials cooperate with all the state and local officials. That is the American way, and will help calm the situation down.
