The sad thing about engine assembly is that less of the cool stuff is visible once the cases go on. Pretty soon all the sexiest stuff will be entirely tucked away.

First turbine is progressing rapidly, probably will be on a test stand in 6-8 weeks, maybe less. Variable guide vanes are moving now.

I just had a great tour of @boomsupersonic with @bscholl and while I got to sit in the XB-1 and make jet engine noises the real highlight was checking out the first Symphony engine core being assembled for testing.
