Sky owner Michael Alter announced the decision after Freedom was escorted out of Sunday's Sky-Fever game, saying, "He has demonstrated to us, unequivocally, that he has the potential to be a threat." The incident occurred after Natasha Cloud scored a bucket that led to the Fever calling a timeout. She directed her emotion toward Freedom, who was sitting near the basket.
