Has to be classic tho. Actually spinning up a client that tokenizes the underlying economy 😅

Yes. As @boredGenius said some are already doing it, and we've made specific RPC mods to sort out some of the edge cases for it. The bottleneck was/is honestly the RPC infra itself, but because we built our own we were/are able to support it.

Was going to say the same. 100% of these fees are not making it back onchain

I'm in his boat mostly because you have to call relative value/valuations into the question, and it's less a question of "does it have value" and more a topic of "if and how far did we potentially overshoot valuations of native tokens?"

Idk man, I had the same thoughts as recent as Wednesday on our show. Thought it was mostly a ZEC beta, but updating my thoughts.
If you want to see how the ~$155 $NEAR base case is constructed. Assumptions: - 16B agents by 2030 - 2% utilizing NEAR's AI infra (intents, compute, etc) - Avg agent does 1k onchain tx - Near capturing 30bps on those tx The biggest wakeup items for me: 1. For some reason, I still just viewed near as pure infra, but the team is shipping a ton of products (intents, ironclaw, etc) and that means fees behind blockspace (I knew this already but have been skeptical of the amount they could charge) 2. Inflation still sucks (5%), but is going to be pulled down to 2.5% cap. 3. 100% circulating supply Honestly though, if there is one chain positioned to captured the coveted "AI chain" I don't see how it's not them at this point. Not only has Ilya been very thoughtful in the technical build out (anticipating both AI, privacy and crosschain interop for literal years) but he also has the easy executive summary pitch of having helped create LLMs. I don't have a NEAR position yet having mostly gone hard in ZEC+HYPE, but this reflection session is going to change that for me.

Amazing - I knew it was older because it was citing ~$2.5 token prices but given the recent run assumed that was like...3 weeks ago lol

Yea, no comment on the token (although I am starting to watch more closely). As we've seen over the years a network can be insanely used/valuable, but doesn't always mean direct token value

iirc his critique was/is the tokenomics, which admittedly had a ton of sticker shock material like the Jump allo (~30%)
