Does anyone else find it odd that in Houston, you can have 4 Waymo's at the Collision shop at the same time. Perhaps @SawyerMerritt will look into the collision reports to see if there are that many reported in Houston over the last couple of months. Not sure how long they have been there. I had been tracking one of them since April 7, 2026. I had no looked around the entire parking lot before but yesterday there was a 2nd one nearby so I decided to look closer. It is possible the one for April 7, 2026 is not one of these (i.e. repaired and gone) but the frontal damage looks to match up to the one that is still in the spot. In any event - 4 Waymo cars out of action in the Houston area - one of them for 3 months does not sound like a healthy business to me.

It appears the Tesla Service Center in Houston that was hosting the Robotaxis now how fewer this week than last week. I count 21 capable model Ys. Last week there were like 32. None of the 3 labeled Robotaxis are here. Of course, they could be working. Does anyone know if they have moved?

From Robotaxitracker - last couple of days we have 63% availability. Prior 5 days are 45% availability and number of Robotaxi's slowly increasing - now at 8. Hopefully ramping up.

I observed new behavior in FSD v14.2.2.4 (wife's Model Y we have had for 2 months). Driving home in the Houston area (Rice Village to Bellaire for the locals) we encountered severe thunderstorms. FSD - standard mode - city streets decreased speed as usual. When the rain obscured the vision enough (momentarily neither I nor the car could see out the front) - I got red hands a few times. In each case I monitored the car very closely and within seconds the FSD resumed on its own. In the past, once you got red hands you had to take over and then re-engage FSD. I am not sure when this changed since I only have had version 14.2.x since middle of December.

Early voting is underway in Texas, and we want to spread the word to vote YES on Proposition 14, a critical ballot initiative that, if passed, would fund the Dementia Prevention and Research Institute of Texas (DPRIT). Help spread the word! bit.ly/4nX1BFH

$EOSE @bert_gilfoyle I know I am getting a little ahead of myself but last week in May is when things are not too hot and the kids are out of school. My daughter is actually out by the week before in case that works better for you.

Sorry to cut the celebrations short. After reviewing the details of the proclamation: • The proclamation DOES NOT apply to individuals already in the U.S. on H-1B status, or to student visa holders on OPT seeking to change their status to H-1B. • It applies only to individuals outside the United States who are being sponsored for H-1B visas and seeking entry. This is specifically aimed at the Indian IT outsourcing companies whose business model is to sponsor large numbers of foreign workers abroad and bring them into the U.S. on H-1B visas. They may shift to sourcing workers who arrived on student visas or to heavily utilizing L-1 visas. • H-1B workers could also be affected if they ever travel abroad and require visa stamping in order to return to the United States, even if they are otherwise in valid status. The proclamation isn’t terrible, but it falls short of truly helping American workers and STEM graduates. Companies like Google and Microsoft won’t be affected, because they source their foreign workers through L-1 visas or from those who arrived on student visas. So when @howardlutnick said tech companies support it, now we know why. If the Trump administration truly wants to help American tech workers and STEM graduates, it needs to end the OPT program, which was created entirely through regulation. Otherwise, it isn’t serious about fixing this issue.

Hi @farzad, I appreciate your youtube estimating Robotaxi potential. Others can find it here - youtube.com/watch?v=2HWRyU1q… Full disclosure - my two largest holdings are $TSLA and $EOSE. Only started to invest in $TSLA 2.5 years ago when we got our Tesla Model 3 12/2022. We also have 3 Powerwalls (direct from Tesla 10/2024) and solar (not from Tesla. 2 issues - the first is your estimate of Uber drives/miles in the US. You have an estimate of 117 Billion miles per year. Grok works out an estimate of 36-60 Billion miles and Fehr and Peers estimate 23-70 Billion miles from a study Grok cites. Overall, this is obviously not a big deal but I thought I would bring it up. The bigger issue is if Tesla would go for replacing Uber - which may be maximum profit - versus reducing the price per mile and move more people into using Robotaxis which would be better for the overall mission. I think they will do the latter so I expect prices to be 1/2 of Uber so 50% less revenue per mile resulting in about 75% less profit per mile. The other drag for the profit per mile will be the inefficiencies that are created when we scale cars for peak demand which means cars are not going to average 320 miles per day each. I could easily be wrong and with the reduced price, perhaps the demand grows 10x and overall profit is actually increased. I presume over time, Uber has done its best to maximize profit per mile and total robotaxi mileage will not increase enough to overcome the drop in profit per mile. I still expect profits to be huge - just not as huge as you are predicting.

⁦@bert_gilfoyle⁩ Since Bert brought up opening a MAGA account before I heard about it, I thought I would post the first interview I have heard with the guy who worked on it for years - Brad Gerstner (cannot find twitter handle for him) podcasts.apple.com/us/podcas…

Anyone in the $EOSE community going to the ACT 2025 Expo in Anaheim next week? I am thinking that the Hyliion ($HLYN) Karno generator (Think Carnot cycle) will be a good fit for a mix of generator and batteries for ERCOT area data centers since it would allow them to be independent of the ERCOT grid. I need to work on the math but I am thinking its cheaper to have some batteries and run the generators full out than to ramp up and down the generators during the day to balance the loads. There may also be an efficiency boost by designing the data center on DC rather than AC.

$EOSE Maybe related, maybe not. This is a new pad located behind the electrical substation serving Orchard BESS. It looks perfect to me to be a future BESS site but this is pure speculation. Orchard is a few hundred yards west of the substation that services it.

That extra pad belongs to Centerpoint. Anyone know why they would need this space. Is a BESS still on the table? $EOSE or otherwise?

$EOSE Lots of workers today - on a Sunday - at Orchard Site. This is the first time I have seen a sign identifying it. There is a fenced area surrounding it which I did not cross.
