I was the foreperson on a jury for a DUI where the guy was clearly 2-3x the legal limit when arrested. A lady who was clearly on cocain didnt want to convict him because she had a nephew whose DUI really messed up his life... Took two days to convince her.

I visited @neuralink in person on Thursday for the first time and met the incredible people in each department digging deep into how the brain works. My mind was melted. Of all the companies I've visited in my 10yrs at @8vc it was the most sci-fi stuff I've ever seen.

. @AnthropicAI loves their capybaras. A marble capybara statue now lives inside Anthropic's HQ. Some friends and I had the privilege of bringing it to life at breakneck speed. Here's a behind-the-scenes look at the process: sketching it in a night, molding it in clay the next morning, and milling it from marble over the following weeks with help from the talented team at @Monumental_Labs. Kinda cool that Pecan Island and South Padre Island are both exactly 6hr10min from Austin. One way or another my sons and I are going to be watching these launches.
