Although this tweet was mischievously supposed to arouse a suspicion of your own visual acuity, its claims hold up. Phthalo pigments (often you'll see green and blue varieties) are super intense and produce Hockney-like flat tints that go on forever. You often need zinc white instead of the typical titanium dioxide to tint them or they'd look very... very chalky and bright; therefore, very modernist. The RETVRN crowd should want, I insist, viridian green to exemplify their aesthetic obsession.
Phthalo green (phthalocyanine PG7) is not very RETVRN friendly. It is too Warholian, has a post-modernist tint strength which is you may dislike (right).
If you want Home Alone warmth, go full 19th century with PG18, chromium(III) oxide. That is, the Viridian green (left).

Feedback's utility is inversely proportional to task subjectivity. If you're solving math or working on objective eval tasks, feedback from anyone is fine--it is agnostic to who gives the feedback. If you're designing album art, stop asking what people want.
