Emotional partisanship aside ... There's no use meeting with Trump on tariff matters until the US Supreme Court has issued its judgement on the legality of Trump's tariffs. If that judgement rules they are illegal, it's final and up to Trump alter course. Everything that falls under the CUSMA remains there until 2036. Canada and Mexico don't want to renegotiate CUSMA. Trump likely does. But that doesn't start until July 2026.
