#latepost | From the pitch in the FIH World Cup 2006 Germany to the bench in the FIH World Netherlands & Belgium 2026 Hockey found me at 14. I never truly put it down. In 2006, I walked off the field at the World Cup in Mönchengladbach, Germany, with 169 caps for Pakistan. The player chapter closed. The fire, however, did not. I left home. I chose the harder path: becoming a full-time athlete, then a full-time coach, and taking a long look in the mirror. New countries. New languages. New doubts. Same love for the game. Twenty years later, I stood with our national team at the FIH Hockey World Cup 2026. Different role. Same heartbeat. Player to coach. The dream remained; only the way I serve it changed. To every passionate person reading this: Never give up on what fuels your fire. Believe in yourself even when the room is empty. Discover your purpose and keep pursuing what you love. People will judge you anyway, so be yourself, keep learning, keep moving forward, and stay around positive people only. I am proud of the boy who played. I am proud of the man who coached. Most of all, I am proud I never stopped chasing what makes me feel alive. Int Hockey Federation FIH Academy #lovehockey #lovemyjob #nevergiveup💪 #dreambig

🥇 Golden girl Lalremsiami scored the only goal of the final as India broke its long Asian Games hockey jinx in Nagoya. Goalkeeper Bichu Devi excelled under the bar. The impact making stars speaks merily #AsianGames #Nagoya2026 #IndianHockey #Lalremsiami #BichuDevi #Hockey

India is still socialist. Can you make a list of all the socio economic schemes that the central and state governments are currently providing to millions of below poverty line families? These are in 100s!

I ask a different question: India is supposed to be a world class software and technology country, what is 1 software product or a hardware technology product, that is world class made by Indian founders in India and is used worldwide? Just 1!

Okay. How is this justified then? 1050 acres of land leased at ₹1.00/year to Japani, for 30 years. Did you ever hear any poor man or women given so many acres of land at this rate? nationalheraldindia.com/amp/…

The segregation of boys from girls at a young age is a deeply unnatural process This leads to boys viewing girls as some sort of foreign object, forbidden fruit, a different class of beings, etc. You'll see in the boomer generation probably 1 out of a thousand marriages (or less) where husband and wife are happily married. Men don't understand women because their most formative years are spent staying away from them Societal structure, taboos, moral policing, even by educational institutions, etc. have lead to a serious lack of charisma and confidence in men and on the negative end of the spectrum it has also promoted hatred towards women, which is why we see most boomers are incels and heavily against equal rights and responsibilities for women If this is true, I'm happy for the boys at this college
in my engineering clg boys and girls were not allowed to sit together 😭
