This is disingenuous horseshit. The fans didn't give up on the players. The fans sat in 98 degree heat through multiple weather delays to watch Grubb start the game yet again with a 3 and out factory.
Good coaches take fair criticism to heart.
Ryan Grubb brought up first half boo birds, told his players later: “If you would have quit as fast as some of your fans, shit, we wouldn’t have won that game.”
