I’ve been working with @NYCMayor since he was campaigning to create the Office of Deed Theft Prevention, and now, it’s a reality. @NYCMayor and I will continue to use every lever of power within City Hall to keep New Yorkers in their homes, and finally bring an end to Black displacement.
For far too long, City government has stood idly by while New York homeowners fall victim to criminal deed theft schemes.
