Institutional OTC flow stops for many reasons. The opportunity doesn’t always stop with it. cGapper is building the infrastructure to keep viable flow moving. Turn the OTC flow back on.

Viable OTC opportunities are often lost when the first execution path fails and the next one is difficult to find. cGapper is being built for what happens next.

No single participant can map every viable execution path in an institutional market. Each desk sees a fragment. Opportunities become difficult when the route sits somewhere between those fragments.

When an OTC trade is rejected, the search for another route often starts from zero: new calls, new context, new reviews. The market may already know the answer, but that knowledge is rarely organized around recovering the trade.

A strong OTC network is more than a list of names. It is a map of capabilities: who can execute what, under which conditions, and when. That context turns connectivity into useful market access.

Every OTC desk sees a different market. Its counterparties, limits, jurisdictions and settlement relationships define what looks executable from that seat. Other viable routes may exist outside that view.

A surprising amount of institutional execution knowledge still lives outside trading systems. And that matters most when the obvious execution path stops working. 🧵

2/3 When a trade is rejected, that knowledge becomes critical. Another institution may be able to execute it, but finding the right route often depends on who knows what, and how quickly that information can move.

3/3 The market already knows how to reroute viable opportunities. Much of that process still happens manually. cGapper is building infrastructure around that behavior. cGapper. Recover the flow.

"The most interesting insti-focused pitch I’ve heard here in Belgrade."
Belgrade was a fking blast. Event was much better than I expected. Special mentions: - major thanks to @kajmak_eth (aka the cabal queen) and @gamespitterxbt for making the balkans feel like home to me - sending love to my castle bros @francescoweb3 and @chilla_ct. Hope this time we won’t have to wait 2 years for the next reunion kek - @OpenBitLab pitched me @buildonparasol (solana-native perp DEX) and I’m very bullish on the tech. Will follow them closely from now. - Finally got to reconnect with @PaoloDiStef, who i went to university with back in the day, and he is now working on @frankencoinzchf. Highly recommend to check it out. - @milianstx is a fucking chad and he (more than) validated my @Arcium bull case. Built on @solana and a game-changer for private AI. - Finally got to meet @ohdatskate, and I’m very bullish on her. Def a top tier hire for @clickdottrade. - @cvsThal seems to have @Overtime_io pilled me, and I’m looking forward to losing money on my first @fc_zuerich bet on saturday (token might actaully be a gud play tho lol) - @hivebits_io and @JurassicFi were def the most interesting booths I came across and big thanks to @0xaioli for @MetaDAOProject-pilling me. - @0xArdito told me about what they’re doing with @cGapperOTC, and it’s the most interesting insti-focused pitch I’ve heard here in Belgrade. - Met a lot other smart ppl like @ToolmanData, @HellYapper or @MaksVuk that I rly enjoyed talking to, and sry if I missed anyone else here. But TL;DR, a lot of great people, amazing vibes, and I’m looking forward to come back next year for more rakija lol. See y’all soon I hope!!!

Counterparty capability changes throughout the day. Exposure moves, capacity fills and priorities shift. A route that worked yesterday may not be available today.

Experienced OTC desks know where to send a trade. Just as importantly, they know which routes are unlikely to work. Avoiding the wrong path saves time while the opportunity is still live.

Liquidity can be available while a trade still has nowhere to go. At institutional scale, the limiting factor is often the execution path, not market interest.
13
A rejected OTC request already contains useful information: the client, size, asset, settlement needs and often the exact constraint blocking execution. Most of that context disappears with the rejection.
19
Institutional crypto has spent years improving access to liquidity. The harder problem often begins after liquidity is found: who can actually execute, under which constraints, and what happens when the first route fails?

In institutional OTC, the right counterparty is rarely just the one with liquidity. They also need the right jurisdiction, settlement setup, risk appetite and operational capacity. Execution depends on that fit.

In OTC markets, time changes the quality of an opportunity. Price moves, exposure changes, and counterparties fill capacity. Every additional step between a viable trade and the right counterparty has a cost.

Every rejected OTC trade contains information. Why it failed. Which constraint mattered. What kind of counterparty might still be able to execute it. Most of that information disappears with the rejection.

Institutional markets are evolving. We believe execution infrastructure is next. cGapper.
