Cairo Smith's Fallujiad is an incredible work. It's a serialized epic poem about the destruction of Fallujah.
I'm not aware of any other work of film or literature that's successfully grappled with the full tragic magnitude of the Iraq War.
But as Cairo shows us, the way to tell the story of an epic tragedy is through epic poetry.
Again, it's an incredible work. Profound and beautiful, it's a piece of art that transcends our time.

Seeing a lot of hate for this. Understandable IMO as a bleeding heart to not want people drowning in the ocean.
Maybe there's a compromise where the skeptics allow the boats but the boats have to drop the people back off on the side they started from.

My Chinese buddy is learning beginner Japanese so he can talk to his Japanese girlfriend, and so I've developed a bit of saying konnichiwa, sayonara, arigato, etc. to him in a Japanese 101 voice when I see him. Slightly worried that if anyone knows he's Chinese but not the context I will just seem really stupid lol.
