My Take:
The Hornets need a connector between LaMelo Ball and Brandon Miller. Kon Knueppel fits that role perfectly. He’s an elite shooter who spaces the floor, keeps the ball moving, and makes smart, quick decisions.
His shooting alone gives him a high floor, but there’s more upside than people think. If he improves his handle and turns his strength into a real weapon at the rim, he has sneaky Jimmy Butler-like traits. He’s tough, unselfish, and always in the right spot.
Knueppel doesn’t need the ball to make an impact, but he can also create offense when needed. His shooting gravity will open lanes for LaMelo and Miller, and his feel will elevate the whole offense.
