Yesterday was one of those days I’ll never forget. As the weather changed by the minute, our team worked tirelessly to make difficult, real-time decisions. We were determined to deliver the Fourth of July celebration President Trump wanted to give the American people and the greatest nation on Earth. When the storms finally broke, the President made the call to move forward and everyone sprang into action. In the middle of the chaos, I ducked into our production trailer to grab a few things. And then everything stopped. There were our World War II veterans. For a few quiet moments, everything else disappeared. I had the incredible privilege of shaking their hands, thanking them for their service, and telling them what an honor it was to celebrate America’s 250th birthday alongside them, the heroes who helped preserve the freedom we were all there to celebrate. I get to be part of some extraordinary moments, but this one meant more than I can put into words. God bless our World War II veterans, and God bless the United States of America. 🇺🇸
