You've probably seen this incredible chart, which shows how solar has been beating predictions for the last 20 years. We just can't update our projections fast enough if something grows exponentially. The same will be true for AI capabilities. (Thanks to @karpathy who mentioned the parallel at an event last week)

Over the summer, @notsorrybryan I talked through some of the lesser known parts of building Clio. Things like: - We originally thought @goclio would stay small. About a year in, we realized it could be much, much bigger - We didn't immediately start with legal tech as a focus. My co-founder Rian was working in IT at Gowlings when he saw firsthand how bad legal software was at the time. We saw a huge opportunity to bring cloud to legal. - @chrija emailed us twice before we saw it. Both messages landed in spam - For years, we hauled a 100 pound trade show booth across the US and once nearly drove into a tornado - @EJWalters and I had been talking about Clio + Fastcase for more than a decade - Then I met with @lfaus in 2025. Weeks later, we announced the $1B vLex acquisition. - Full circle moment: Gowlings was one of the advisors on that deal. Opus 5.5 is good in ways that surprises me every day! It's incredible how big of a jump in multimodal it is! Got Opus 5.5 to move my furniture into a house on Zillow 🏡 I gave it a video of my home and the Zillow link for a home. My prompts: 1. "Learn the furniture I have from this video, then make a 3D version of this house and furnish it with my furniture. Make it photorealistic" 2. "Now make me a walkthrough video and a 3D version I can interact with" 3. "Make a video of this entire session showing the steps you took" Watch till the end for the walkthrough of 3D scene 😅 (Disclaimer: I'm not actually buying this house, it's just a random zillow link!)

Friends, work is getting so hilarious right now! My agents run in a loop with /goal. When they need context, they DM one of my colleagues on Teams. But some of my colleagues are also using agents, so their agent replies to mine. My agent is basically asking another person’s agent for context that is not in either person’s brain. It’s somewhere in their emails, documents, meetings, or cloud storage. The other agent finds it, sends it back, and mine keeps working toward my goal. It feels obvious that agent-to-agent communication is about to become insanely fast. Most of it is just context exchange. The next step is a company brain where all the context lives, with access rights attached. Instead of messaging five people, your agent retrieves exactly what it is allowed to know and continues working. The funniest part: I was grabbing a coffee when a colleague received a Teams message “from me.” He looked at me, saw that I was obviously not typing, and immediately understood that it was my agent. We are already becoming managers of agents talking to other agents.

It is a huge gift to humanity. It will 10x all of us, give us more magic experiences & save time from drudgery to spend w family & friends. Many internet aggregators (insurance, travel, shopping) will resist but resistance is futile. AI agents aggregate the world of options on the fly - the fulcrum of value delivery has forever shifted. Since I am obsessed with painting these days I got Opus 5.5 to replicate Mona Lisa. This was my prompt: "can you search for the picture of Mona Lisa, then replicate it using mouse movement and brushes in JS paint using chrome?" It took 20 minutes for the drawing part using Cowork + Claude in Chrome. After it was done I asked: "Ok now can you make a video of exactly what you just did? Showing every mouse movement and changes?" Result is the video you see! :D More details in thread 🧵

Image generation models have struggled to create native vector graphics. They mostly try to create an image and then vectorise it. Excited to see @F13hq come out of stealth with their frontier model for vector image generation. I backed @gpjanik & Ingimar because I believe there was a missing piece of the visual puzzle; vector images create better presentations, infographics, websites and overall graphics for anything you can imagine.
