Congratulations on your Series A, @hifiHQ! Proud partner and supporter ๐Ÿค
Money is becoming software. HIFI is the infrastructure it runs on. We've raised a $37 million Series A led by @leftlanecap. Thank you to the customers who run on HIFI, the team that builds it, and the investors who back it. Demand is accelerating. We now process more than $7 billion a year, and existing customers have grown their usage more than 400% in the past six months. Together, they've onboarded more than 10,000 businesses and 200,000 individuals through HIFI. Our technology runs from Wall Street to everyday payments. In July, HIFI's platform was part of DTCC's pilot for tokenized repo. And through our partnership with Visa, developers can pair HIFI's stablecoin settlement with Visa Direct to move money globally. With this round, we're building toward the full stack of tokenized money, from payments and stablecoin cards to tokenized capital markets. We're growing our teams in New York and key international markets, acquiring strategic regulatory licenses, and reimagining new products for the partners building on HIFI. We're just getting started. โ†’ Read our blog: go.hifi.com/bmyAiJe โ†’ Read the exclusive in Axios: go.hifi.com/hUflHxN

๐Ÿšจ Important feature
Your SOC should have detection rules for every system that can move money. Starting today, @dfnsHQ can export its audit trail to your SIEM, starting with @datadoghq Cloud SIEM ๐Ÿ• Privileged action signed on DFNS, like moving funds, exporting a key, changing a user, a policy, or an access control, arrives in your security operations as a structured log the moment it resolves. It will show you: ๐—ฎ๐—น๐—น๐—ผ๐˜„๐—ฒ๐—ฑ, ๐—ฑ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐—ถ๐—ฒ๐—ฑ, or ๐—ณ๐—ฎ๐—ถ๐—น๐—ฒ๐—ฑ. This includes the attempts, such as a transfer signed and denied by policy. The type of signal that reveals stolen credentials or insider testing limits... What your SOC can now do with it: โš ๏ธ Alert on any key export, anywhere, instantly โš ๏ธ Flag policy changes outside the change window โš ๏ธ Catch a spike in denied actions from one user โš ๏ธ Surface a transfer at 3am from someone who's never operated at night โš ๏ธ Correlate a DFNS action with the same user's suspicious IdP login 20 minutes earlier ๐Ÿ›ก๏ธ We built SIEM Export like a security control. It never blocks the action it observes, but instead runs on an isolated channel so a SIEM outage can't touch your webhooks. Your API key is encrypted and never logged. When your analysts see something, DFNS can: โ†’ suspend an Org โ†’ revoke a User โ†’ tighten a Policy โ†’ deny a Wallet Your SIEM also holds an independent copy of the record, in your domain. Even if DFNS itself were ever compromised, your SOC keeps the history. That's what onchain core banking is for. ๐Ÿ“– Read the announcement: dfns.co/article/siem-export โŒจ๏ธ Start building today: app.dfns.io/get-started

Proving a commitment in digital assets has always meant handing them over ๐Ÿ˜จ Capital would usually leave your control to prove a point and it would sit under someone else's risk until the point no longer needs proving. Today, we're releasing ๐—Ÿ๐—ผ๐—ฐ๐—ธ๐˜€ so you can commit funds to a counterparty ๐˜ธ๐˜ช๐˜ต๐˜ฉ๐˜ฐ๐˜ถ๐˜ต ๐˜ฎ๐˜ฐ๐˜ท๐˜ช๐˜ฏ๐˜จ ๐˜ต๐˜ฉ๐˜ฆ๐˜ฎ. A lock is a reservation inside your vault. Nothing moves onchain. Your counterparty gets an enforceable guarantee, you keep custody, and only the net result ever settles. We built the feature so neither side takes the other's word for anything: ๐Ÿ”’ Nothing locks without you. Every lock clears your approval quorum, enforced below the API. ๐Ÿ”“ Nothing unlocks without them. Only the lock owner can release, reduce, or settle against it. ๐Ÿ”™ Nothing unwinds it from the side. While a lock is active, the owning account can't be edited. Three use cases, one primitive: โœ”๏ธ Settlement: trade all day against 5 BTC locked at home. Sold 2? One transfer settles, 3 release back. โœ”๏ธ Collateral: the lender locks collateral in your vault. It can't be spent by you, can't be rehypothecated by them. A margin call is a lock increase, with your approval. Repayment is a release. โœ”๏ธ Escrow: funds locked until delivery. No third-party custody, no wire out and back. For a treasury, it's the difference between capital that works and capital that waits. That's what onchain core banking is for. ๐Ÿ“– Read it: dfns.co/article/locks โŒจ๏ธ Start building today: app.dfns.io/get-started

๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡ช The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange @ADX_AE has chosen @dfnsHQ. DFNS will deploy digital asset wallet and tokenization capability across its market infrastructure. ADX is the machinery of UAEโ€™s capital markets: the exchange, AD Depository, and AD Clear. With this agreement, ADX becomes the first regional financial market infrastructure to embed wallet and tokenization capability into its core. โœ”๏ธ Issuance and servicing of tokenized instruments across their full lifecycle โœ”๏ธ Wallets for a market of issuers, members, custodians, and investors โœ”๏ธ Controls enforced before anything signs with an audit log regulators expect โœ”๏ธ Sovereignty over deployment with jurisdictional control over key material "๐˜›๐˜ฐ๐˜ฌ๐˜ฆ๐˜ฏ๐˜ช๐˜ป๐˜ข๐˜ต๐˜ช๐˜ฐ๐˜ฏ ๐˜ช๐˜ด ๐˜ฃ๐˜ฆ๐˜ค๐˜ฐ๐˜ฎ๐˜ช๐˜ฏ๐˜จ ๐˜ข๐˜ฏ ๐˜ช๐˜ฏ๐˜ค๐˜ณ๐˜ฆ๐˜ข๐˜ด๐˜ช๐˜ฏ๐˜จ๐˜ญ๐˜บ ๐˜ด๐˜ช๐˜จ๐˜ฏ๐˜ช๐˜ง๐˜ช๐˜ค๐˜ข๐˜ฏ๐˜ต ๐˜ง๐˜ฐ๐˜ณ๐˜ค๐˜ฆ ๐˜ช๐˜ฏ ๐˜ต๐˜ฉ๐˜ฆ ๐˜ฆ๐˜ท๐˜ฐ๐˜ญ๐˜ถ๐˜ต๐˜ช๐˜ฐ๐˜ฏ ๐˜ฐ๐˜ง ๐˜จ๐˜ญ๐˜ฐ๐˜ฃ๐˜ข๐˜ญ ๐˜ค๐˜ข๐˜ฑ๐˜ช๐˜ต๐˜ข๐˜ญ ๐˜ฎ๐˜ข๐˜ณ๐˜ฌ๐˜ฆ๐˜ต๐˜ด," said Abdulla Al Nuaimi, CEO of the ADX Group. ๐Ÿ“‘ New series: One deep dive per cloud DFNS supports. First up: ๐—”๐—ช๐—ฆ. We are starting with Amazon Web Services (AWS) because thatโ€™s where we started. @dfnsHQ has been an @awscloud customer since day one, 6 years ago. The post covers everything we do with AWS. At its center, the question most vendors answer for you: TEE. Keys isolated inside AWS Nitro Enclaves, the model made famous by enclave-native platforms. โœ”๏ธ MPC. The default. Keys exist only as threshold shares, never assembled anywhere. โœ”๏ธ HSM. Keys in your own AWS CloudHSM cluster. FIPS 140-3 hardware, your account, your region, โœ”๏ธ Or use the hybrid: MPC shares sealed in Nitro Enclaves from your account. Nothing signs without you. And procure it all through AWS Marketplace, on the bill you already have. 500+ institutions. $200B+ secured. 99.997% uptime since 2022. Zero breaches since 2020. ๐Ÿ‘๏ธ You can now watch any address on DFNS. Register any onchain address, DFNS treats it like your wallet. The industry usually calls this a โ€œread-only wallet.โ€ But those usually hide a key somewhere. Whereas an Address Watch on DFNS has none. No private key, no public key, no view key. Finance on shared ledgers means reacting to accounts you don't own. โ†’ A network operator's contract records a settlement. โ†’ A counterparty's address receives what you're owed. โ†’ A market infrastructure emits the event your back office is waiting for. So far that meant running your own indexing, polling nodes, and decoding logs for every network. Now it's one registration and the webhook you already use โœ… What you get: โœ”๏ธ Every value transfer touching the address from the moment the watch starts โœ”๏ธ Balances across the address's assets โœ”๏ธ Decoded smart contract events, event name plus fields, as structured data โœ”๏ธ Three additive webhooks with addressWatchId instead of walletId And the part your security team will like the most is that the transfer, signing, and export endpoints don't exist for Address Watches. Nothing on the platform can sign for an address it holds no key for. ๐ŸŸข Live on Ethereum, its testnets, and Besu-based private EVMs. ๐Ÿ“– Read it: dfns.co/article/address-watcโ€ฆ โŒจ๏ธ Start building today: app.dfns.io/get-started

๐Ÿ’ธ Stablecoins move the money. Bank accounts are where it lands. In this demo, our CPO Chris Sutton runs the payout leg on @dfnsHQ. USDC sits in a DFNS wallet, converts to fiat through @circle Mint, and gets deposited into the bank account of your choice. The whole flow: 1๏ธโƒฃ From the Circle Mint dashboard in DFNS, select the wallet holding USDC 2๏ธโƒฃ Choose where the money lands: your Circle treasury balance, or a linked bank account 3๏ธโƒฃ Review, confirm, sign with a passkey. Submitted. That last mile is the one that decides whether stablecoin operations actually work for a business. Suppliers invoice in dollars. Partners settle in euros. Treasury reports in fiat. However fast the onchain leg is, a payout isn't done until the bank account says so, and until now, that leg meant leaving your platform. โŒ Separate portal, separate credentials, reconciliation by hand, and so on. Now it runs where the rest of your operation lives. Every payout passes the Policy Engine before anything signs, quorums, limits, allowlists, screening, and lands in the same audit trail as every other movement. Which is exactly what payout operations require. The money moves fast, and the approvals are provable. Collect and mint through Circle Mint. Move native USDC across chains through CCTP. Pay out to the bank. One platform, the full cycle, ending where your counterparties actually bank. ๐Ÿฆ€ We just released our first Rust SDK โœ”๏ธ Rust is the language we use for our most performance-critical systems: matching engines, payment processors, settlement services, node infrastructure, and signers network. For these systems, performance matters and memory safety is a security control. Until now, our clients have integrated DFNS over HTTP and implemented user action signing themselves. They asked for a first-class SDK, so we made it: โœ”๏ธ Fully typed DFNS API client, async on Tokio, with helpers for wallets, transfers, and signatures โœ”๏ธ Request signing handled for you. You provide one thing: the signature โœ”๏ธ Direct signing through a single trait, with the crypto library of your choice. Every signed operation is split into init and complete, making user-controlled wallets easy to use from a server Rust is not new at DFNS. Our cryptographic core is already built in Rust. ๐Ÿ—ž๏ธ By now you've heard about the Coldcard incident. More than 1,700 Bitcoin, over $140 million, left their owners' wallets last month. The owners did nothing wrong. No phishing. No malware. No leaked backup. Every wallet was offline. No key was ever exposed. What happened was worse than a breach. The keys were weak the moment they were created. And they stayed that way, unseen, for 5 years ๐Ÿฅท For a decade the industry has repeated one promise: ๐—ผ๐—ณ๐—ณ๐—น๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ฒ = ๐˜€๐—ฎ๐—ณ๐—ฒ. โŒ That promise broke last month. An air gap protects a secret that already exists. It says nothing about whether the secret was sound when it was born. The lesson goes beyond one device. A weak key at birth is a weak key forever. And a key created by one device, alone, has no one to catch the mistake. Our security team studies every major incident to extract the lessons, help our clients navigate, and hold our own systems to the same scrutiny. Our CISO Thibault Murel wrote the full account. It takes apart the debates this incident revived: โ˜‘๏ธ Custodial vs self-custody. The wrong question. HSM vs MPC. A comfortable argument that misses the failure. Cold storage. A phrase that no longer means what people think. ๐Ÿ“ผ Watch our CPO send USDC to a scammer and how @dfnsHQ catch it before anything signs. In this demo, Chris Sutton simulates the attack that's drained tens of millions from institutional wallets: ๐—ฎ๐—ฑ๐—ฑ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐˜€๐˜€ ๐—ฝ๐—ผ๐—ถ๐˜€๐—ผ๐—ป๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด. An attacker generates an address that looks like one you've paid before, matching exactly the characters your screen displays, plants it in your transaction history, and waits for you to copy the wrong one. Chris takes a wallet he pays often, one literally named โ€œTreasury,โ€ changes a few middle characters to play the attacker, and hits transfer. Transfer Screening fires instantly, with two distinct warnings: โš ๏ธ This is an address you've never sent to before โš ๏ธ This address closely resembles one you've interacted with in the past, and may be an address poisoning attempt Then the design choice that matters: ๐˜ช๐˜ต ๐˜ธ๐˜ข๐˜ณ๐˜ฏ๐˜ด, ๐˜ช๐˜ต ๐˜ฅ๐˜ฐ๐˜ฆ๐˜ด๐˜ฏ'๐˜ต ๐˜ฃ๐˜ญ๐˜ฐ๐˜ค๐˜ฌ. The user makes an informed decision with the detection in front of them โœ… Under the hood, the detection adapts a peer-reviewed Carnegie Mellon method validated against 270 million real attacks: 100% precision, 97.2% recall. It compares exactly the characters interfaces display, the ones attackers must forge, scoped per wallet, where a collision is a genuine anomaly. And it's the first check on a growing surface: dusting detection, fake-token scrutiny, and best-in-class threat intelligence are next. ๐Ÿ“– Read the announcement: dfns.co/article/transfer-scrโ€ฆ โŒจ๏ธ Start building: app.dfns.io
